    Supposed to be a Japanese style chicken curry from one of those "S&B Golden curry's" but I stopped adding the cubes as it would have been too salty for me. Very nice flavour though. With egg fried rice. Cheers Arry

    As you know Kev I worked for Nortel Networks who sold the business to Bookhams who dumped 6000 employees. Sent it all the equipment to Shenzhen China making fibre optic receivers and transmitters. I was on maintenance at this time helping stripping the production stuff out. The engineer that was in charge asked me what I thought about that the building in China it was going to for production, that it was Chinese Government was on the floor above.     After that blow thought I would have a crack on the beach. Went to Challaborough. Nice and bracing but no descent finds just ring pulls bits if cans and aluminium nuggets. Cheers Arry

    To get the best crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy chips on the inside Sid. It's best to boil them for minute for skinny fry's or two minutes if bigger then let them steam dry in a colander for a while. Then deep fry at 140c until just starting to turn golden then lift out turn the heat the oil up to 180c and cook for about one or two minutes and you get the best chips ever mate. Cheers Arry

    First time my Butcher been open since before Christmas and I needed to stock up. Having bought a load of his 6oz Dexter Burgers for the freezer. Well had to have one for tea with some triple cooked skinny fry's. Cheers Arry

    Ed I had a Fen set in a tube at the top of the garden a while back now and one of my ferrets escaped and was in it. I was gutted mate. The old lady next door that moved in moved a shed next to my garden next to all my bird feeders. I asked not to put it there as it created an ideal place for rat. I stay on top of them using live traps and poison if it gets bad after a long wet spell as they seem to seek out under her shed then. I just put them down with a bit of lead in one ear so speak. Made up that cobbled up trap for a bit of fun and for some reason it works well. Cheers Arry

    Made up this trap from some weld mesh I had. Strange thing is it out performs a similar size Squirrel Trap they both catch just it just seems to work better. Similar size Squirrel trap. Cheers Arry

    I live in a small town in the Southhams in Devon it's a Tory safe seat and if I voted for the Reform party it won't make a blind bit of difference. The only party to come close was the Lib Dems and they might just do it this time but it won't be with my help. I think the Lib Dems will do well in the South West mind as they did once before back in Paddy Ashdown's time. Imo even if you managed to kick them all out and start a fresh with a New Party it would only take a short period of time before they ended up the same. With power comes corruption and so the cycle starts again. Ch
