It is mate and they reckon its sharper than surgical steel, no idea if thats true. I had no interest in napping myself just finding tools and thinking I'm the first person to handle the flint since it was dropped thousands of years ago, and what was it used for. They are not all arrow heads and blades. I remember the first flint I found I was in a hide decoying pigeons not much happening and I looked down and saw a small blade. Thought then was a Stone Age guy hunting on the very same spot thousands of years ago. That what got me interested in field walking, cant help seeing them now when

Ive no idea what they taste like Tomo. As you know I like foraging mostly Fungi but of course most books and sites then go on to plants, fruits, nuts and roots which to be fair I find interesting. I also used to field walk to find Stone Age flints which gets you mind thinking into what the tool you find are for. In support of you theory I did find many scrapers which would imply killing animals and preparing hides for meat and cloths. I still think though it would had been a mixed diet. Cheers Arry

I once read all about the Oak Tree and that is just about everywhere humans have been. All along the Silk Road etc and the fact that man relied on it. The Acorn being a carbohydrate. There are other carbohydrates ie Burdock root, Dandelion and Bullrush rhizomes these would not have been ignored by early man. I personally thing Fish and Shell fish would have been much easer than hunting large animals for meat and meat would have been a luxury for time to time. Can You Eat Acorns? Mainly Pork and Fish though as Fish is still classed as meat. Also far from a only meat diet infact their diet is similar to the Mediterranean diet. Diet & health Experts claim that even though Hong Kong is seemingly unhealthy, the country, in general, consumes a diet similar to the "Mediterranean diet". Hong Kong is uniquely surrounded by ocean and land, which enables greater access to fish, fruits, and vegetables, which are found in the local cuisine. Rice, nut oils, and a combination of meat and vegetables provide whole diets. However, as the western diet gains popularity,

I know what you're saying Tomo and its a rabbit hole if you're on one side or another. You can find wild cabbage on the beaches and cliffs down this way. All broccoli, Sprouts etc are bred off these wild cabbages. Same as all breeds of Beef and Sheep and other meat animals were bread off Aurochs and other ancient breeds. Wild Cabbage - The Backyard Larder BACKYARDLARDER.CO.UK Wild cabbage (Brassica oleracea) is a biennial or perennial plant that grows around the coasts of western and southern Europe. He asked if we would like a loaf of his bread white or brown, white please we both said. He gave my mate and me a loaf of bread each and to be fair was sour dough bread and was rea

I buy most of my meat from a Butchers that sources his meat from different farms ie like the pigs that run free in a wood in a village not far from me. He makes his own sausages cuts his own bacon and knows where his chickens and meat comes from. I grow a lot of my own veg and I know exactly what goes in the garden. Best way if you are worried as to what's on your food is buy Organic. Cheers Arry
