    Beautiful shot that Crazyhorse probably the most attractive bird we have in the UK. Never known so many of them as this year, eating me out of house and home getting through about 15 kilo of sunflower hearts in three weeks and a lot of niger seed. Also Green finches and Siskin's but mostly Gold finches. Happy new year to all may you get some great shots next year. Cheers Arry

    Cant really tell mate but check out Velvet Shank. Seen it growing on Elder while out with the ferrets the other day. http://www.first-nature.com/fungi/flammulina-velutipes.php They have a dark velvety stem about this time of year. If that is a Cherry Tree maybe Honey Fungus, but a bit late. Cheers Arry Have a good new year.

    Seems all us old bxggers that did ground works,hand digging humping bison beams etc etc are knackered. Bet you were like me jeans and a short T shirt and the old boys used to say " you want to cover your back boy you get a bad back" wish i had listened. Retired now and went to help out a farmer who done his back the other day so what did I do, yea pulled my own back and it went down my leg after two days. Like other lads said though kept moving took pills for a two or three days, won't keep taking them as they can bxgger you up. Not to bad at the moment unless I'm bent over for sometime doing

    Yea still can't access the site on Safari or Firefox. I have an old macbook with ox 10.7.5 , Safari It says can not find as secure server or words to that affect. Firefox says The connection to www.fourteenacre.co.uk was interrupted while the page was loading. I can't update my browser any higher on this old thing. My mate wanted some spun poly and he look i've no idea if he purchased. Thanks for getting it touch hope this may be of some help. Happy new year. Cheers Arry

    What a day today in Devon glorious, out with the young ferrets 3 kits long netted a thick hedge 4 to the kits ran the older ones through 2 more then a brace from a short bit of hedge. Just one of them days when it don't get much better just being out there. Happy new year Newkid and every body else. Cheers Arry

    Half a dozen green army type T shirts few other going out T shirts four pair bridgestone socks Jamie Oliver pestle and mortar A bloody bright torch a leather belt blank few bottles. And a good day spent with my sister and her hubby. Greyman I think I forgotten what a good crisp frost is I picked some tomatoes on Christmas day thats a first for me.
