    Nice fresh one that, haven't seen one of them in years now. Your right about needing some rain, lots of young stuff coming but starting to dry out.     Just saw your post, thought I would have a mess about. Got an old radio tape player out that my lad left behind turned in on Long wave and bxgger me it started clicking it was on about 150 KHz to 160 KHz down near the bottom end. That was a MK 1 collar. Cheers Arry

    You know I said there were loads in the town where I live, well they only wanted to a have a gay road crossing, instead of a black and white zebra crossing they wanted a rainbow coloured one. Even the council were in favour, would have been the only one in the world FFS. Cheers Arry

    Three parts of the way through last season I had collars go down when ferrets were under ground. On one occasion I had two to ground and both went dead this was still okay and used a third ferret to find them, all sorted with a small dig. This could have been a bit different on some of the other ground we do. Any way its the cheap batteries we had bought of eBay you know the ones 100 for about a tenner, they would suddenly die. Also I think they leak as I was alway cleaning the centre copper pin in the collar that had got black. Started using good quality ones that are made for hearing aids ne

    I was at school in the 50s and 60s didn't like the dinners much, the dinner lady's used to ladle the sloppy mince meat on to the plate it looked like a cow pat. The butter beans were like wood (still can't eat them to this day), Liver was like leather. Used to eat it as wasn't getting another meal. Used to like them little bottles of milk though and remember the caretaker would drink one down in a oner used to fascinate us kids how he could do that Lol. Cheers Arry

    I can't stand cats in my back garden pissing and shitting on and around my veg or creeping up at the bird tables etc. The guy two doors up said as he laughed saw my cat sneaking up on the birds on your feeders. I said so did I and he soon fxcked off when I twatted it with a paint ball from my blow pipe, it wiped the smile off his face. I have to cover all my veg and if I clear a bit of ground, I don't see why people can just let a cat out to roam other people gardens and murder all the wild life in the area.     I don't grow Chillies but put my Tomato's in about the second week in Feb with heat underneath. There up about a week later I then keep them inside in a bay window, you get a real good start that way and you could use your own seed. In the past I've grown the woosy birds eyes chillies it work on them. Worth a try mate. Cheers Arry
