    Have you looked up the Smooth Snake similar to an Adder. Never seen one myself supposed to be slimmer I think. Cheers Arry
  2. keep getting calls from john or peter or paul type names from a Birmingham number and really from India. So when they ask to Mr A I told them he had committed suicide due to harassing phone calls, the phone went dead. Touch wood they haven't called back, was going to say its in the hand of the police and they are tracing the call but went dead to quick. Cheers Arry
  3. A couple of these little chaps around last night. I put a bowl of ferret food and water under the ferret hutch every night they are coming ever night now. Cheers Arry
  4. Very very nice that jerked pork mate. Just been down buy some bits and pieces for a evening bbq, thought have a taster fired the bbq up slung half a rib eye in a bap with all the trimmings. Do it all over again tonight with a few beers to boot. Cheers Arry

  9. You were lucky mate. Grapes, raisins, and even currants (some currants are actually small, black grapes) are toxic to your dog! In fact, there have been anecdotal reports of cats and ferrets being affected by these also. Ingestion of even a small amount of grapes,raisins, or currants can result in severe, acute kidney failure. Cheers Arry

  11. Really nice area that fished there before when I was younger some good pollack of the headland, bit hairy if I remember. Plenty of rabbits in that little valley near that castle place. You can rent that place as well. Cheers Arry
  12. Stayed in a National Trust cottage in Port Quin quiet and out the way out of season. Great for dog walks and to the south side of the little fjord like inlet it was rabbit el dorado.   15. Poly tunnel then edible flowers they fetch good money mate, heritage tomatoes etc. Watch them goats mate they will eat any thing and they love bark of the trees. Good luck Cheers Arry

  17. Had a go last week but the water was dirty, typical blanked. Quite a lot of anglers there not one fish, thats fishing. Some thing interesting chatting to one of the local old boys who does a few pots etc, he reckons there was a school of Tuna chasing anchovies about a week ago. Not large ones but about two foot long could be a bit of fun for the kayak boys, don't know if there still around. He reckoned the anchovies have been there all winter though and the Terns were working the tide line about a hundred yards of the beach when I was there.
