It's a bit weird to me that BBC and Sky seem to have a news black out on this. Also Diane Abbott (Shadow Home Secretary) tried to cover this up. If it had been Priti Patel's son it would have been all over the BBC and Sky just look at the fuss over her so called bullying. He was supposed to be in court on the 7th Feb but can't find anything on it. Cheers Arry

Measure the diameter across the speaker if it's 57mm or 2.25" then they are probably using the same speaker as the old MK 1 box. This is the one I've ordered for the Mk1 box. Nobby I've just ordered one for the old mk 1 box. you need to read the back of the speaker should have something like 8 Ohm which will look like 8 and a upside down horse shoe 1W which mean 1 watt and the diameter which is 57 mm or 2.25' in the old MK1. Put your dimensions into google or look on eBay and you should get a match. if the dimension are the same let me know I will tell you were I ordered the one I've ordered is from. Cheers Arry

The trouble with the whole argument is they have lumped all fires in to one basket. A open coal fire is obviously worse that green wood and green wood is worse than dry wood and so on. It's all a lot more complicated you can't just say it's all fires. It's like saying all drink is bad for you whether it be alcohol coffee or water. Cheers Arry

Most Wood burner including mine are designed to recycle the smoke and reburn it so I just can't see that it's as bad as you make out. You could hardy see across the valley when every body started their fires when I was a nipper now handy any smoke so I just can't see it's worse. What is worse around here is bloody filthy buses you can smell the thing from 50 yards all public transport should be electric. Cheers Arry

When a lot of us was young we didn't have central heating in fact never hot water unless the boiler (a early Muti fuel burner) in the kitchen was lit. Every house on the estate have two fires one in the front room one in the kitchen all burning coal. There where nearly all or nearly all coal powered power stations less traffic of all kinds. We never seemed to have the problems we have today. The difference IMO is every body has one two or three cars HGV's every where, flying from one side of the world to the other at the drop of a hat. My personal view is Flying has a lot to do with

I have a wood burner and a thermostat on the flue, burning at the right temperature is essential IMO. My neighbour try's to make a log last three days I think and it bloody stinks the smoke gets so cold its seems to sort of falls off the roof. I've dropped hints like you have to give them a blast to no avail she it tight as a tick mind and you can't educate pork. Cheers Arry
