That first one you had don't sound like a common cold, more like Norovirus. As Forest of Dean said Lemon and Honey but try some grated ginger. As for tablets Zinc is known as the closes thing to a cure for the common cold. Cheers Arry

If any body is interested this is the recipe I use. I do tweak it a little, one thing I add is Dark Maple Syrup to the marinate. https://www.gimmesomeoven.com/beef-jerky/ Cheers Arry

Quite chewy mate, Venison tasted the same but was like boot leather Lol. Nice to have in your pocket if out for a mooch. Cheers Arry

Done Jerky in a dehydrator. Used Beef marinated skirt with loads of black pepper. Came out pretty much the same as the stuff you can buy. I tried Venison it was okay but a lot tougher think I need a better cut of meat to try that again. Cheers Arry

Thats my point Chris no point in having a boarder if your not watching it or enforcing it. As Meece says hardy any get sent back, most because they have no paper, well we know where they came from. Their in a small boat with enough fuel to get them 20 miles or so send them back to France who let them in their country in the first place. Give the job to the forces to do. What the hell are we going to do to enforce our Fishing ground if we can't even stop a few inflatables. Cheers Arry

Got to agree with you there mate. Why did they both carry on with the kicking game in those conditions? Cheers Arry

The way I see in about 80% of restaurants down in the South West have Sea Bass on the menu also Sea Bream (Giltheads) these are all from the Mediterranean this time of the year even in the summer. Bass and Bream are always on the slab in super markets all from the EU. They want to sell us their fish it's a big market. If the EU cut their nose off which I think they will I don't think it will last long when all the veg growers and fish suppliers start to screaming. While we will buy more veg from Africa, Egypt and Israel its not them that hold all the cards. Most Cod is imported from Norwa

That demand for are fish by the EU will not IMO dry up the restaurants will still demand our fish mate. It may get blocked or hindered for a while but long term people will find a way to trade. As for the pay offs well we are going to pay 40 billion for the compensation towards assets, so they can take it out of that. I think we probably do have the boats, what we don't have is the quotas and fisher would invest in boats if there is a future. The bloody EU payed our fishermen to decommission their boats, fishermen here cried as their boats where mashed up by diggers as the took the

I think your right mate the EU are between a rock and a hard place. The can't give us a good deal because so many other countries are watching, they had got to be seen to punish us for having the neck to leave. It will be no deal in the end or a deal at the last moment, they will cut their nose of to spite their face and it will hurt them more than us. IMO if we play hard ball and stand our ground we will do well in the long run. If we accept the first deal they offer just because its a deal we are down the pan and they have use over a barrel. I believe actually we are the ones holding the tru

Very similar to Meat Patties only patties might be smaller. We used to hunt different bakeries to find the best ones as well. Thanks never thought of trying to make the myself. I would probably get a lot of stick though from pasty lovers. Lol. Cheers Arry

Think we might call them Meat Patties or at least they must be similar. I don't know what a real "Bridies" is mate, would be interested in a recipe. Cheers Arry

No mate cut the veg and meat (Beef Skirt) into 10mm pieces and it all goes in raw honest its dead easy and they are handsome. In that recipe it says put meat and veg in layers I just mix it all together. One thing I would say is don't try and do it with ready made pastry it just falls apart. Make your own pastry from strong bread flower its more elastic. I whack the flower salt lard and margarine in a blender till its like bread crumbs then put in a bowl and add the water. Cheers Arry

I don't make them little cocktail Pasties, Proper size ones. Note the 6" ruler. Cheers Arry
