I went down for the check up feeling great, even said so to the nurse how well I felt. Few hours latter I was coughing my heart up, I'm with you on avoiding the place. Got sent to see a Doctor after my results because had lost my voice after a week of coughing. I told him I reckoned I caught it there he said "are you blaming us" I said no but it is were all the sick people hang out. Lol. Cheers Arry

I agree BH. I found the whole thing hypocritical the way they talk down to you while giving a polite bollocking, having struggled to lose a bit of weight and getting thing back on track so to speak. The professionals giving advice on how you can lose weight when they them selfs are bloaters. Telling me a hot Chocolate drink is better than fruit, can't see that. Well because I take medication for Blood Pressure I get called in for a check up every year. You know they suck out a bit of blood to test take my blood pressure measure height and take weight. A week later go for the results, well turned out my sugar levels were a tad high. So would have to go for another check up in three months, this was just before Christmas. Not a good time to cut back I thought, but after New Year I cut back on the drink and stopped packets of crips and snacks. Started eating loads of fruit when I felt like a snack. So I go back for my second check up. Called in by

Still pissing down and has been since Friday midday, wind dropped a bit but the heavy rain is still forecast says heavy rain till 15.00 hours today. Flood warning for the local river Dart. Really can't remember a Autumn and Winter this wet and mild before. We had them few lovely frost morning back in the middle of January but that only lasted about a week. My father swore by raw onion and to be fair he rarely had a cold but did suffer with his chest, he did smoke all his life though. I remember one time I was fed up with a cold I got an onion and started to eat it like a apple. Well f**k that again Lol. Been cutting back on the drink since new year eating loads of fruit no crisps etc in the evening.
