  1. This is the one that got rid of Tennis elbow for me. I had Tennis elbow and what we used to call screws in the shoulder pains for years, even gave up Scaffolding because of it. May be in the mind I don't know but was a massive relief to me when the pain was gone, gets you down a bit when if was day after day. Sure you could find a cheaper one somewhere. 7. Will try bit of cheese then usually give the Robin suet pellets. Used to work in a leisure park and drive around on a golf buggy where every I went the robin would turn up and feed off my hand. Turned out I was feeding about 6 different ones but they would all come up on my hand, they love the suet pellets. Cheers Arry
  8. My Gran bless her heart used to keep chickens and kill them to eat, she would save every egg that was inside and cook with them. Should not waste things you have killed imo. Theres nothing wrong with them. Cheers Arry
  9. May be the thread is not in the right place mate I don't know. But I'll bet there's not many on here that are not fond of the birds. I take out the Rats that turn up from time to time and the Grey Squirrels that wreck my feeders. I don't know about feeding cheese would have thought it had too much salt in it, but then what do I know. I get all manner of birds in the garden mainly feed sunflower hearts probably the best food for attracting them and niger seed, fat balls and peanuts, raisins just for the Black birds. Buggers get on the window sill and look in when it gets cold Lol. The hed
  10. Debt is one of the big differences in the young generation and oldies imo, people don't seem bothered with these days. I have a loan twice apart from a mortgage which we struggled to pay. One loan because I was self employed and had a tumour on my guts (lucky it was benign) that had to be removed, no sick pay. Then another loan to pay off a tax bill because of the recession where the buildings all but collapsed, went from good money to crap tax payable on the good years. Debt was a mill stone around our neck and dragged us down till I managed to pay it off. I hear it said sometimes that old pe
  11. I whistle the same notes to the birds as I do too the ferrets. The Black Birds will come and feed on top of the ferret hutch ( they love raisins). Robins and black birds come out of the hedge when I open the green house, the bird food is inside. Its fascinating Crows, Rooks and Jackdaws will sit in a Oak tree that 30 yard up the garden. This would have never happened when I was a kid. We have become more affluent now and buy seed etc, would have just been stale bread when I was a young'un we had no extra money for the birds then. The birds have learnt the gardens that look after them. I get lo
  12. Very clever Birds. They would rip net bags of peanuts apart, so I hung the net bags on about a foot of string. I watch as a Crow lifted the string put a foot on it then repeated the process till he had the bag. Smart birds indeed. I saw a bit of film where Crows would carry I think it was Walnuts out onto the road and wait till traffic smashed them then feed on them. Cheers Arry
  13. Ovens are usually 32 amp supply. I'm guessing this is on two 16 amp supply's 13 amp would be too low. Cheers Arry
  14. You have check your Distribution Board Trip/Fuses? Cheers Arry
  15. Fox is storing them mate imo, will bury them. I've found corvids I've shot buried in the plough with a wing flapping above ground in the wind. Cheers Arry
  16. Little tip, pinch a drop of the wife's nail polish and put a little dab of it on the little screw in the centre of the depth wheel, this should help stop it coming loose when you're out and about. Cheers Arry
  17. Several of you guys have touched on about manners which I feel are sadly lacking these days. Born in 51 we had nothing in the way of material thing really but we did have manners and nearly all the kid had them. Woe betide if you father found out you had been rude. My father spent most of his money in the pub and mother managed best she could. Started catching rabbits, fishing and poaching the odd Pheasant when I was about ten or twelve to help feed us. Father was hopeless with tools as well Saw's went rusty. Garden fork or spade was left stuck in the ground were he last used it and the handle
  18. Hamilton Has forgotten where he came from. Probably the best driver F1 has every seen, but getting all political and spouting BLM stuff has done a massive anti PR job on him. Then a young lad George Russell gets to drive Hamiltons car because he has Covid and drives it almost as well as Hamilton. If it was not for Mercedes team manor cock up would have won or been on the podium. George Russell a young man to watch and far more humble. Cheers Arry
  19. Each collar is a little different so if you have more than one collar the box may read different. You can calibrate the box but it is tricky to be honest. There two components ether end on the board they stand up right they are usually blue or black they have a slot in them that can be adjusted. I would recommend if you are going to try this to put a small mark with tipex before you move them. They are called potential meters you have to have the board out of the box with the battery connected and the collared working to do this. It is tricky put a measuring tape out at 16 metres the collar at
  20. Think I've posted this before some where. Make sure you test box and cover out side your house as all sorts of electrical stuff upsets the box, TV's, Florescent tubes, you will be surprised. If out side wire mesh galvanised sheets also upset them etc. This might help remove the battery take the insides out of the box remove the screw from the centre of the depth wheel, remove the depth wheel. Then remove the thin plastic cover usually yellow or white. Now carefully clean the Carbon horse shoe shape resistor with a cotton bud and little Isoclene or Mentholated spirt. Make sure your batter
