    Same Avon valley woodlands. Great place to walk the dogs if you down this way on holiday. This little meadow been taken over by the Himalayan Balsam its getting every where now. Cheers Arry

    Did a walk along the steep wooded Avon Valley (South Devon) old railway track by the river today. This area was a real hot spot for big cats seems to have gone quiet of late. Cheers Arry

    As said in the cooking thread I was at Beesands today. There were these guys coming off the top of the hill above and landing just yard away on the green behind the beach. They hung in the air near the top hill for ages with the onshore winds then dropped down. Cheers Arry

    No problem detecting wet sand its more like fine gravel on Beesands. Not much good and bloody hot, Pound coin, bullet casing, some fishing weights and lots of aluminium nuggets. Years ago there was a caravan park on the green above the beach, reckon the Aluminium is from burning some old vans when it packed up. I just cant sit in the sun need the detector or a rod. lol.     I stand corrected mate there are two masts on start point I thought they had taken one down after damage but must have replaced it. Sorry about that mate. Taken from Beesand's. Fish and Chips on the beach was bloody hot today. Cheers Arry

    Rack of Lamb tonight. The Wife's dinner she won't have mushrooms. Mine with a mix of wild mushrooms bought one and some Oyster mushrooms I have been growing. My first harvest from growing them. Cheers Arry

    Out for couple hours till it got to hot. A Henry 3rd silver hammered penny I think and a copper hammered. Unfortunately cant see much detail on the copper one. Cheers Arry
