    Bit nostalgic for me today walking of Bolberry Down, cliffs I used to climb down using 200 foot of rope to fish. The Best Ray marks in the country for Blonde Ray, Small Eyed and Spotted Ray. The nearest point is a mark me and two mates pioneered back in 1980, one hell of a mark for Ray. This picture taken from the other direction with a ships boiler. Massive prawns in that boiler as you can walk around it on a spring tide. The middle point is where the British record Blonde Ray comes from.     Eating out mostly this week as the Wife is on holiday. This from a cracking Pup right out in the country lanes. Wifeys Bass and Cod Fish Cakes. Mine Crispy Duck and it was to die for.     South West Water has on a hose pipe ban for nearly a year now. We pay I think the highest charge for the duel lowest performing company it boils my piss. Not one new reservoir has been built since 1989 privatisation in the country. There was one I think finished after but started before. SWW are now saying they have just built one but its just an old clay pit they have bought. Cheers Arry

    Stopped of at the Walkers Hut for a help yourself to cream tea in a farm yard. Nice little camp site with bell tents, kiddies play area and fire pit. Cheers Arry

    Went for a walk with Wifey down near Salcombe at Bolt Head and the craggy cliff at Sharp Tor. The sea mist came in made it quiet atmospheric. You can make out the coastal path under the crag, should be able to see the mouth of Salcombe estuary. This house used to be a ruin with cows inside. Cheers Arry

    Well thanks to every body for advice Wifey has gone for these. Bit more meaty the the Scarpa. Well I emailed Scarpa and they what me to send the boots back to them, going to send postage. They are about 8 or 9 years old so don't think they will do anything. I my view boot should not just fail and fall apart but should wear out. Any way lads many thanks for all the input. Cheers Arry

    Thursday was my Birthday and my Ferreting, Fishing and Foraging mate brought around a live Cock Crab this afternoon. Just finished picking it out 240gram white meat and 130 brown so think tomorrow either Sea Food Salad or a Crab Sandwich. Cheers Arry

    Yea mate have a bucket I chuck all the lead in. I don't do beaches much mate so no I did little gully's at the low tide hoping for old coins, not to be lol. Most of my detecting is fields I like the historic side always hoping for a good find. It's surprising how much lead I find used to throw it in the hedge but started keeping it, now have half a bucket full. Took a load of stuff and gifted it to the local Museum the other day just kept the coins I want to keep. Cheers Arry
