  2. Theres a few that are genuine and will keep to themselvs and go under the radar and then those that say they want it that way but still want the coin and fame lol.
  3. Some good points been made here some lads some lads don't p3d good posts on truing ta get the history of the terriers but I think you will hit a bricky wall when it comes ta some lines ha some lads don't want it getting that some of there famous black dogs are throwing reds and black and tans haha
  4. Working black terrier working white terrier just about covers it for me.
  5. I always had suspicions that somebody or something was is out there watching tracking listening to everything we do but people would say I was mad it's all in my head or I'm paranoid but this thread has proved otherwise lol thanks shovel shy for bringing this to light they know that we know what there at sly c**ts. I can see it il be out diging some morning and the drones will appear it will be attack of the drones lol. SOMEBODY OUTTHERE WATCHING US
  6. Look at the attention they trying to get cause they found a dog with a collar. I wonder way it's bred someone from that part of the world might come on here and give us the real story behind what's happened lol
  7. That yoke jacked I bet ya good job I didn't come on the cur I'd have ....... well ye know what I mean and kept the collar lol.
  8. It's been good reading this all I'm going ta say is and I'v said it before when it comes to Internet hunting I'm number 1 lol.
  9. The dogs are out there and good terriermen there aswell but some are there for name and fame coin end of and then theres the good few not alot that have learned from others mistakes by choosing better company and surrounding themselvs with trustworthy like minded men they worked with the tools at hand and improved on what they had by mixing it up with other well bred lines. There now geting the results of that work. Then theres lads that have bought there way in lol and now think there next big thing haha is all I can say to them.
  10. Theres plenty lads about with good working dogs down of the big names some are working it and keeping tight amongst themselvs and few mates others are geting it and are working but are in it for the coin aswell. I'v just been in a man's yard young chap dug with him a few year back when he was just a young lad lol but he knows a good dog and knows how ta work and look after a dog anyways he just showed me a yard of workers and some cracking pups he breeds for himself and those that hunt and dig with him between him and those in his locality they keep a steady flow workers between them no money
  11. yes chesney that was the first show we ran it was for the foxhounds we ran it that time for he was definitely the big attraction 43 terriers in the patterdale dog class and nearly as many bitchs in there class also top man great craic too have a pint with or go for a dig with never a dull moment. Brilliant working terrier show good location and plenty like minded people at that one.
  12. Sounds like a right gentleman I went to show a few year back that he was judging it was iwtf show I think before they moved it to moate it was the biggest class of working terriers I'v ever seen but I heard later it was because jp was judging that turnout was high. The best line up working dogs I ever see.
  13. This a pic the man just sent me on of tyson after a dig I think you dug over this dog apache.
  14. ye he got him as a pup he died a ground when he about 7 I think.
  15. This brody son of the Toby this dog was my mates dog the one that pushed on to the standard that I looks for in a dog but circumstances changed that over other people's greed but anyway it just a quick history of the dogs I'v seen or had over the years there hasn't been loads of what I'd call top class but have had some decent stuff about me but going back over this the really good ones only come about every now and then far and few between. Theres been others about that would dig plenty when they were winning but when it comes ta pushing on whether it's up tight or basically puting there live
  16. This is a dog called Toby the name will speak for itself people in ireland will know of this dog. The next decent dogs we would own would be of this dog.
  17. I'm only puting these pics up lads these dogs set a decent standard for me they did anyway they pushed up into tight places when others upped and left they dug places where the so called great terrier men of this area said couldn't be dug I proved all that to be a myth cause if the dog is game and the man is willing to dig well that's bond won't be beaten. They never really produced what we thought they should have for some reason it was never to be there's very little around of these.
  18. This the tyson dog the same owner of the sammy and Maggie. He was of the hard type again him been the first of this type of dog that myself and few others down this end of the country would get ta work he this man basically showed us the ropes opened his door and gave some the chance when others said we're just jumped up brats haha we showed them tyson was time came just before the sammy Maggie and the chad of that time.
  19. These 2 been my old digging buddy's sammy and Maggie. They accounted for more game than I can remember they started out bit on the hard side but over the seasons they found their voice and steadied up ta have long careers and because of it dug alot more than the harder dogs alot more stuff was accounted for.
  20. My old dog Chad one of the very few to stay at it in this yard he 13 now his style was on the hard side not an overly big dog but always done what was asked of him but spent alot of his time sick bay the only one of his litter to stick with the job required of him. His litter mates found the reverse gear in their 2nd and 3rd seasons. The chad himself never produced a whole lot.
  21. I'd be happy once they just stay lol but my preference would be a dog that uses his head and not layed up in sick bay for weeks on end. I'v had the so called hard types not many of them have stayed I can count the ones that have and lost count of the ones that havnt stayed at it starting of in let's say an aggressive manner not there shown the quarry in front of them to much respect but they soon find a reverse gear this been a few different dogs I'v had over the years of different lines of pats but to the ones that have stayed with it have given meself and my mates some memorable days out tha
  22. Looks like it could have of had a few tussles with Billy brock looks well worked and nice stamp fairplay.
