. we offered it the man never asked for it. Why didnt you ask the man how much he wanted, might have saved yourself a few hundred quid/euros . I paid it I didn't mind he had dogs I wanted ta use on bitchs at that time were going well so it was my choice.

It's all about taking a chance if ya get a few workers then it's money well spent if ya don't ya just go and try again with something else.

I know of the men that had the dog decent diging men that got plenty with the dog and good a few that have workers of the dog. As for 500 for services I'v heard this been mentioned in company at shows over the years the man never asked for that it was offered and didn't mind paying it for a good stud dogs that were doing plenty at that time there was another down this area paid the same we were the ones that offered that money it was never asked for at the end day make it up lads charge 300 a pup 500 for the service the litter is your own and nowan ta come and have first pick of the best pup.

If it's the lad I'm thinking of very little ac blood in there if theres any if it is in there its very recent but I don't think it is in there. He breeding some good stuff in all fairness to the man they keep it amongst themselves and the dogs get plenty graft. Il leave it there he might allow me to go into more detail on the way the way he breeds sometime be worth an ask I doubt it tho.

The first proper blackdog I see was down of that gurrier. f**k it I want some that blood back in my yard anybody out there with this bloodline please contact me money waiting lol. It's been added to some lines and mixed with nuttall stuff a touch of border mixed with gould stuff some had good results with it others had a mixed bag with it anyone wiling to admit they bred ac stuff back through it ta bring some life back into it haha.

I know there a couple lads down this way have some of it going through there terriers one lad in particular seems to be geting good results by using it over stuff he already had in his yard. At one time when rb was in that area he bred some decent ones at that time don't know the ins and outs of the man's business but there were some decent dogs came out of that area at that time. I'm sure there lads from that time reading this now might come on and be able ta add more to the conversation.

was she that hard mush dd she produce much workers when bred toid say she was the most important producer of workers in the world let alone ireland. i no that just want to no did much good dogs and bitches come out of her. Ya won't get much answers about dogs here I'd say so many lies been told and false pedigrees been put to dogs past and present no one wants the truth getting out lol.

Where did I say fitness doesn't help of course it helps but I'v had the animals in good peak condition what I'm saying is some alot them lacked something when it came to doing the job they were supposed ta do but they looked well on the leads when I geting up in all weather's at all hours walking jogging with them up hills down hills they loved that but most when it came to hard graft didn't have it in them. Maybe I should have kept them and prance them around a show ring lol.

I wonder how many dogs have walked through lack of fitness if the dog is blowing out of his arse.he surely will lack heart once the dog is exhausted.. Had plenty them quit and it wasn't through lack of fitness let me tell ya. And I'v seen enough dug were the most exercise they got was the amount of work they got They had plenty heart.

Fitness helps and it's good ta get the dogs but when he goes ta ground then it's a matter does he have the heart to stay does he want it.

Sorry ta hear that fd ya stood with her to the end and gave her a good retirement there some out there have no interest in them after they retire or cant be bred of again it's seems harder when it's the old ones that go for some reason chin up fella ya have the young guns ta look forward to. Have ta say the vets here are very good will always tend your dog if needed not to pricey either and would never spay your dog or bitch without your consent. There cheeky c**ts over there for doing that I'm sure there something there that's very useful to them that could be taken without there consent. -
. Theres alot of good terrier men in this country aswell that brought dogs over of these men and made them there own they just don't seek the notoriety that goes with it.

One time I'd probably wouldn't have enough room in the van for the gear I'd have now a days they more than likely walkout if they do decide ta stay il just ring somebody ta come out with the gear lol.
