I’ve got to agree with Mcslop here, I dont understand when people say you need a fast type nowadays so your on and off quick as if that means that a fast dog is going to kill everything quick, not going to happen, agreed that your not going to get 5 and 6 minute runs because the dog can’t run for that long but it take you longer carrying the dog back to the car

As I've got older I think them little whizz bangers , whippets or small grew crosses. Would be better suited , on and off , quick blast and don't draw as much attention these days. Just my view

And there is every chance, like Scotland, lurcher work, ferreting and terrier work will get swept up in this and also banned as part of the ‘consultation’ and subsequent legislation Labour introduce in the New Year. The field-sport community in Scotland were surprisingly apathetic when their bill was going through the various stages, to the point many involved in Lurcher work and ferreting, for example, didn’t even know it had been banned, until it was too late. Hopefully that won’t be the case South of the border and the community will at least put some effort into saving what little is left

For me the anticipation of getting to the net and seeing what you've caught is everything. Same as not knowing if youll get caught being somewhere where you shouldn't be. With the thermal you see everything and in my opinion it spoils it.

So the dam to them is my old brindle bitch call Bonnie ....her dame was 5/8 Greyhound 3/8 collie.....her sire was a Grew....first cross grey x racing whippet...Mick Dadd from Sheffield bred her....so she's very whippety Greyhoundy...feck knows what her percentages are I then mate her to a collie whippet Greyhound type....I'm not 100% on his percentages but I think he was more likely 3/4 whippet grey ....with just a 1/4 collie...
