Good point that about Arteta they've stuck with him and are reaping the benefits i used to hate it when you would hear a manager call it " building a project "....but in his case that really is what he has been allowed to do.

Thats it mate we've noticed bigger attendances almost week to week for the last few years my club plays in the Isthmian Division 1 North its a decent level of football and a good blokey football atmosphere for the most part although we do get families as well as its in the heart of a busy community but it takes me back to the raw old spirit and character i fell in love with as a kid. Quality wise i think theres players at this level that could be playing higher up the leagues, likewise i think theres pro's that could play at higher levels right up to Championship players good enough to pla

As you know, I don’t mind the women’s game as a thing in itself but I totally agree with you about promoting it like it’s as big or important or the same as the men’s game because it just isn’t. If anything, I think the women’s game is shooting itself in the foot trying to do it…..levels mate, just know you level and be good at that, simple really. Politics, it’s the death of football everywhere…..if they had the best interest of the game at heart they would make more of a deal about making it accessible to young girls and spend less time making a load of noise like they are all Lion

I don’t agree about Frank, I think one look at Spurs tells you it don’t matter who it is……Mourinho, Conte, Postacoglu, you name it, none of them could make it work. Conte laid it out at that last press conference he did for them, what was it said ? “The story of Tottenham for years is this….” Bang on the money ! It’s deeper, deluded fans, deluded owners…..great facilities, toxic environment ! Has to be ? Frank is a good positive lad, I think he helped build something good at Brentford and you can see it still paying off……I mean, in what other world does Ivan Toney get talke

I have a completely different view of that mate, I actually like the idea of new, young managers with new ideas. I think they have something to prove, I think they are braver, maybe recklessly brave sometimes but for me that’s ok, that’s how I personally like football played. Some of these geezers (like my pal Moyse ! lol ) are so f***ing stale it’s just not true, it’s all a bit comfortable…..the old should get out the way of the young, it’s what happens on the pitch so why not off the pitch ? I mean, that’s not saying very experienced managers have no place but I think young blok

Trippier is out of contract but I think he will be offered another year. I don’t think Gordon will be sold, Howe rates him highly. It will change when Schar and Kraft come back from injury, but not to much as Liveramento will also be back and he’s English. We sold or released a few English players last month. Depends who Howe goes for in the summer Cheers.

I don’t know that source, but JoyRaining is legit for the price. Güde makes great stuff if you want something nicer.

That must be the highest average of any prem team do you think that will change next season as I think I read you have a few out of contract and others that could be sold like Gordon ect

Look at arteta looking like he's going to win the title but they stuck with him after one cup in however many seasons he's put a good squad together because he was afforded time that is a shocking stat but it seems the thing to do theses days like Forest is it the 4th manager there looking for this season Sunderland did it for a few seasons

That's why I think non league is becoming so much more popular I think it was in some cases over a 120% like nation league South because it still has that old type football feel to it I see a lot more young families on fylde fc or when I talk to groups of old school lads they have had enough of prem or championship with everything about the game changing atmosphere rules ect and go non league now

Clubs seem to want to appoint somebody " new " rather than somebody proven over a long time.....Everton did right they knew what they was getting with Moyse now look where they are......because managers are not at clubs long anymore there can only be a small pool of managers to choose from so they're trying to bring in what are mostly untested at top level. My Hammers used to be known for being quite loyal to managers but since Sullivans arrival we have been through almost as many managers in his 15 years as the previous 108 years combined !!

Couldnt agree more......the game at elite level could do with taking a leaf out of non league clubs books in that regard.......look how many non football people there are running the game, you just dont see that at non league.....yes have your money men and investors.....but they cant be the people making footballing rules and decisions.
