I'm not sure that you can draw comparison between the risk in construction to those in combat. True, most fatalities are from falls from height. Typically those accidents would have been avoidable if safe working practices had been in place and adhered to. Simple, identify the hazard, access the risk, introduce control methods to remove or reduce the risk. Crack on. Main hazard in combat is surely death? Main risk is other people trying to kill you. Difficult to risk assess out.

Lot of them just got good at masking as theh say , most found out pretty quick talking to non veterans rarely helped . My wife's granddad is a Korean war vet. Second time I talked to him he walked away and came back with a box of medals and scrap book . Stared telling stories few hours went by before we left . Tom was home taught buddy you will have to deregister him I will get Mrs to send you the template we used I think the rules are changing regarding home schooling so looking in to that might be worth checking if you're on Facebook there's loads of advice and groups on there you could always use a private tutor to set his work out for the week if you're struggling

' I figure he could do an evening language class, health and safety courses, first aid. As long as he's gaining qualifications then I can pay for loads privately that would be more use than anything he's currently studying. As I say.... only just looking at options yet
