Well I was hoping to do more prep than I have but I'll have time while the turkey is on, made a parsley lemon garlic butter for the turkey and stuffed with onion lemon and bay. Mate gave me a recipe for sprouts which is smashed up sprouts cooked with lardons/bacon and topped with parmesan. Doing leeks in sauce , roasties parsnips, carrot, pigs in blankets and some butchers stuffing, going to try again to pull off a good gravy , I've got giblets and wings etc to kickstart it.but got bisto if I mess up, got a tart and pavlova for pud. Turkey going on at 7 and gonna rest for 2/3 hours uncovered

Well first year that missus has everything wrapped before kids asleep. Should make for an earlier night , probably place stockings around midnight. They'll probably be awake at 3/4am I'm preying for a lie in though. They'll be entertained with stocking fillers, I listen to them giggling and laughing for an hour or two then we head down , put the kettle on and let them open some presents, and the day begins....

They say 1 in 500 to get the perfect pic it’s true this pic of a bolter is about me best but lucky with slr he wasn’t over the hole he was trembling at but I took a pic to auto focus he turned left and twisted his body for the take the light the auto set nailed it a lucky pic

That’s a splendid idea … maybe he’d bring the dogs and we could introduce them to grass on a verge outside .

Should be handy pups and probably easy to live with temprement wise with the grew blood.

@green lurchers I’ve been thinking with all this interest in running dogs in clobber … we could set up a clothing swap bank ,where out grown and no longer needed dog costumes and accessories could be swapped and sold with proceeds going to drag queen dogs rehoming centres across the country…. ( or we could split it )

Blackie yrs ago I bought two new sofas I never sat down or layed on em for 3 yr lol I only let the dogs in about 30 yr back as dogs in area wer getting poisoned local for a while they wer throwing laced food into back yards so the door opened

I’m in the same situation. Little farmers pack no snobs. The doors it opens for other things in life mixing with people I wouldn’t normally. Situation might change at other packs but will keep head down and keep plugging away whilst I can

Old whippet dave (u can run faster usen than a ped un) kept his lurchers outside but always had his racers in the house and the was never anywhere 2 sit and if u tried sneaking your arse on one of the sofas thered be a low growl from hillside honey or 1 the other cs so u go stand in the kitchen

Started some prep for the buffet tomorrow. Done two ham joints one smoked one not. Six scotch eggs with three different flavoured sausage meats. Had to try one. Some chunky sausage rolls. Some self mini soft bread rolls. Cheers Arry
