    You are talking about subjects you know nothing about again arent you ? lol @Bendigo My story is the opposite….(sorry I didn’t get to expand yesterday) So, to cut a long story short my lad has been homeschooled since 5, he started mainstream but it was a terrible experience for him and that brought about a subsequent autism diagnosis…..so, quickly realising nobody would understand him like me we took him out of school and just did it ourselves. Now, for us we had to learn to understand how my lad learns (this isn’t really relevant to your situation but may be handy for anyone

    Personally today I would not allow any of my kids into mainstream education it’s just an out dated model to teach kids to give up the best 8 hrs of the day and be subservient to there masters readying them for there warehouse jobs on later life, the internet holds all the knowledge they need have a lady on a boat near me with 4 homeschooled children and they are all a pleasure to be around and lacking in nothing

    How are they teaching him he can quit when it's getting a bit rough ... By the sounds of it he's done the roughing and now there teaching him to be a better person by avoiding the trouble and working towards being a better man than most by knuckling down and learning stuff what will make him thrive in the future
