First video I watched I would have completely agreed with you, the second video I'm not so sure its not that clear. I don't know why they didn't taser/pepper spray her or shoot the tyres rather than the driver, I'd like to see body cam footage then I think we'd get the full story

In my time in the states, if you were  pulled over by law enforcement, you turn off your vehicle and place your hands on the top of the steering wheel while dealing with them. No sudden movement of the hands and no attempt to accelerate away from them . I would be curious if the officers were wearing body cams .

From the video I saw ....they didn't need to shoot her, she wasn't really driving it at an officer.....BUT....it's America. She was part of a protest purposely trying to disrupt law enforcement officers. 

If I was in America and a yank cop approached with his hand on his gun telling me to get out the car and id put my foot down id expect them to draw and fire....that's what they do there. If it was me, my friend or family putting my foot down when a cop says stop and get out the car then it would be the same conclusion.

I was asked for documents twice last year,both times I kept my hands visible and said I was going to reach into the glove-compartment.

I have just seen footage from the front of the vehicle,she does seem to partially hit him what appears to be a glancing blow.

that's what i thought when i seen the video looks like she was driving away not at him but she should have stopped  ,you don't f**k around in those circumstances and sadly she paid the ultimate price for her stupidity
