Despite signing a contract that precluded him from voicing partisan political opinions ,he made a tweet criticising the home secretary's recent decision regarding illegal immigrants and comparing the Tories to Nazis .it has nothing to do with free speech ,despite what his supporters claim .

I’m a bit biased because I don’t like the arrogant, sarcastic, woke, left wing shithouse.

I think he should have been sacked immediately and the rest of the sycophants should have been told “honour your contracts and get to work or you’re sacked as well “ !

Its nauseating to see Kier Starmer and Labour sticking up for Liniker when they howled for Andrew Bridgen, a Tory MP , to be sacked for saying basically the same thing !

Im sure everyone wouldnt mind if a few genuine refugee women an children came from a war torn country but theres no women or children its all economic migrant fighting age males coming for a free handout,but these leftys cant seem to understanfmd that or maybe there doing it on badness which i think it is.

I dislike the c**t, but he has housed a couple of “refugees”, but not in HIS house, but in another of the properties he owns.

But he didn't voice his own personal opinion on the BBC did he? He didn't use his prime time slot to get maximum coverage. He posted a tweet, something anyone can do to. If you feel strongly about something so wrong, then why should he keep quiet just because his employer says so?? Its about standing up for what you believe in, not just dipping your head & towing company line. Good on him for having the balls.

It's easy to try close an argument when you disagree with someone by saying they are "virtue signalling". When someone shows some humanity, just call them woke, then you can look really clever (and smug).

I think people are tired of celebrity , especially those who use their fame to push their political/ethical "views" , the hypocrisy of their own behaviour, whether linekar, packham , or the miriad of racial/sexual minorites that run the BBC and are all extremely over represented in the media , which has now filtered down to society. I'm definitely a grumpy old b*****d, but I would like to get rid of all this nonsense. I'm still in disbelief that over a million people can't get emergency dental care. Most people have to work overtime to tread water, the main influencers for our kids are social media and the educational system , and neither are exactly my idea of healthy childhood ideology, and all the while Gary says we need more foreign influence and greater pressure on our health services and roads and threats to security etc etc, f**k. You Gary.
