Can you name any positives Brexit has fetched, you're the fourth person I've asked and I have failed to get an answer from one.

Go on then I will answer you..................I'm such a small cog in the wheel personally I will never know If it has had a positive or negative effect on me as a individual things changed in my life before Brexit and will continue to do so after.

I had a large pay increase last year could I attribute that to Brexit, I doubt it but who knows?  What I do know is Brexit or not I make my own luck, but for me voting Brexit was about regaining our sovereignty. I don’t really care if Brexit made any difference to that or not what I do know is I did what I could as that small cog to make that happen and I'm comfortable with that.

From a political perspective do a search, heres one link of many documenting the positives

So you're happy to accept economic suicide in the name of sovereignty, not the wisest of moves.

As for sovereignty, the UK never lost it, it chose to share some of it's sovereignty with other EU nations and had a say in those shared sovereign powers.

Most of it's sovereignty was held at Westminster. Name me the EU laws that the UK did not already implement or disagreed with- taking in to consideration the concessions the UK already had as a member of the EU?

For sharing a small percentage of our sovereignty the UK was a member of one of the world's largest trading blocs.

Is the EU perfect, of course not, sovereignty was never an issue though, you just fell for that line.

"Economic suicide" bit dramatic........Ive lived through 2 recession both whilst we were in the EU I might add, and survived both, so try not to worry too much.

So to respectfully answer your question again yep I'm happy and more than comfortable with my decision. The fact it pisses people like you off and young Mostin cant travel around europe in his gap year without filling in a couple of forms is a added bonus ?

So, Brexit was a great idea  because it pissed people off who want the best for the UK, great logic that.

You don't read posts properly do you?

Personally I'm better off at this moment now financially than I have been so by your logic Brexit for me has been a great success. Will I be better off in 5 years who knows, will that have been because of Brexit who knows, you obviously claim to know whats best for the UK so crack on Im happy with my lot?

But yes pissing people like you off is mint?

I know one thing the reason many working class areas like the ex mining and other heavy industrial areas voted for brexit they did not see the benefits of being a member of the EU only the mass immigration under the freedom of movement from some of the poorer countries with in the EU. The local politicians in south yorks told us we wouldn't get funding for some of the run down areas from the EU funny how Dinnington has just been awarded 12 million for it's high street were has they got f**k all when in the EU.

Have you considered the idea that maybe that was because of our own government?

To be honest more than likely and now its an help their is a tory MP in the Rother Valley. I myself have not seen any difference in my life or other's around me since leaving the EU.

Not one cent from the EU’s Cohesion Fund ever made its way to the UK. And yet the UK was paying into it for 30 years funding projects in mainland Europe.

It's amazing how those on the political left and so called socialists measure success of the country by eternal economic growth as judged by bankers, investment funds and capitalist market leaders. Any growth from a labour government has always come from borrowing and debt. Look how they rubbished Liz truss....a prime minister that suggested allowing people to keep more of the money they actually earned...the political left wanted to point out how hopeless she was when the markets, finance peddlers and Bankers told them to ?

Trade and growth at any price ?

I think Liz Truss wasn't wrong in many ways, just too bullish too quickly..  she certainly upset the apple cart and paid for it... being kept in constant debt is the wish of all the financial markets which in truth control everything.

Leaving the EU was the wish of the majority, how its been handled since is poorly, although the EU have tried to scupper at every opportunity...it was always a long term play and I still believe in the future it will be the right decision, we just need the correct policy makers... Sunak seems to be slowly doing the job imo

Most need to remember that the "Common Market" was originally just a trading arrangement for the free movement of fresh produce within Europe and the UK. This is what the British people originally voted to join, Only later was it allowed to grow in the Monster it has become today, All without a vote being put to the British public to see if that's what they wanted.

When they were finally given that vote a few years ago, The people spoke but half of the politicians did not want to listen,

The United States of Europe with Germany at the Helm was the vision of another famous German.

This obsession with growth is all linked to amount of money the country has borrowed over the years, It is unsustainable and its about time a plan was put in place to change that model.
