Then don’t give fukc all to the older kids. They will soon learn.

For Christmas I’d like a day without …. a ) getting slapped awake by my 4 year old boy and as soon as I open my eyes being asked if I “want a fight like? “  b) not get my eyes pulled out at

mainly been roast or pie mate with the old lady using juices in gravy ?

get a marinate up shark ill try it weekend it wont go to waste either way mate ?

There's loads, Magoo, and it will also depend on what herbs you personally like.

One of my personal favourites,  after gutting, skinning, then wash the carcass a couple of times in cold water, I'll knock a marinade together of mixed herbs, thyme, bay leaf,  garlic and black pepper, then soak carcass in a bottle of red wine for at least 8 hours.

Put hare in marinade overnight, then in the slow cooker for a few hours.  Beautiful.  As I said though, there's a few different ones you could try.  ?

I know what your saying mate I just couldn't do it.the middle 3 are 14 15 16 now I make them get mrs sumat as she loves Xmas but I can't stand it to be honest even as a kid I wasn't a fan if I was on my own wouldn't even put a tree up.so mrs having a nice Xmas is more important watching her get all excited opening her presents and her watching kids open there's isn't worth making a fuss over a 5er haha

Mine got me sweet FA for my birthday this year... so I bought her fuuck all for her's ? She knows better than to complain, as last year I spent over 600€ on fuucking handbags for her 18th. Like Socks said, if they cannae be arsed, neither can I ?

Just wondering why you don't have to soak beef in all kinds of flavouring just to make it acceptable, never been a fan of rabbit tbh.

Grebby, you can marinate ANY meat you want to.  And once you get into it, it's great seeing what results you can come up with.

But yes, I sort of see your point.  It is nice to go back to eating pork, beef, chicken etc in it's unmarinated 'guise'.  ?

Oh yeah, rabbit is fuckn awful, unless curried!!  ? ?

Put the hare in salted water overnight, rinse off to remove liver flavour, slow cook in Guinness with chopped celery, carrots, mushrooms, onion etc, then get about the pastry, sprinkle a good layer of mature cheddar on top of filling before putting pastry lid on
