One of my personal favourites, after gutting, skinning, then wash the carcass a couple of times in cold water, I'll knock a marinade together of mixed herbs, thyme, bay leaf, garlic and black pepper, then soak carcass in a bottle of red wine for at least 8 hours. Put hare in marinade overnight, then in the slow cooker for a few hours. Beautiful. As I said though, there's a few different ones you could try. As I said though, there's a few different ones you could try. ive saved 4 back legs of two i got from a mate last week,ive eaten them lots of times ,herself soaks em over night in some sort of sauce,then slow cook em for a few hours the next day..i cant understand when folk say they taste like shit ,,,its one of the nicest meals ever... 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Grebby, you can marinate ANY meat you want to. And once you get into it, it's great seeing what results you can come up with. But yes, I sort of see your point.
