Along similar lines, I remember reading that shutting schools didn’t have the effect they thought it would. Plus there’s a very strong relationship between this disease and age.

I’d find it hard to believe that a kid has never passed it to an adult but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the risk was tiny.

" young children do not transmit the virus "...." dont have the receptors to catch the disease " ...so it says

Im in the starting blocks to get round to the grandsons already ?

That’s interesting but seems disputed at this stage. I think it’s fair to say the risk is low.

Another puzzler is how smokers aren’t getting ill like non smokers! They have hypothesised that niquotine actually protects you in some way I can’t remember. Possibly prevents the immune system overreacting? They’re trialing it now and of course everyone has panic bought patches!

I have heard that, nicotine protects you but not through smoking, hence the patches

Yeah, what they’ve seen is a surprisingly low admission rate of smokers with CV19 but they reckon those that do suffer bad because their lungs are weaker. But yeah the current hypothesis is that it’s the nicotine that’s active.

That's the 1 balaur, looks scarey. Worse part with all this and kids is that if kids end up in hospital with cv19 they'll have to be in alone

horrible thought ?

I have to say I haven't seen anyone, not that I'm complaining LOL.  I don't bother with phone calls, maybe the odd text sometimes.

As a family we go to check on the horses daily , give them water and check them out . My dad came up the yard just to see the kids after 6 weeks of not seing them . My boy was jabbering on about his football skills and my littke girl showing off the pony . It made his year , stood there 2m away from them absolutly in heaven
