Black folk can’t swim......little know fact......never see any black swimmers at the olympics......not a racist thing......never see black folk at the swimming baths.....

Sharks don't eat blacks I heard they think it's whale shit

Yeah that would make sense too, either way, I’ll bet the hotel staff had the cause out and away before the ambulance arrived!

Switch off the power. Oh the pool is safe.

I don't know for sure but that pool dose not look deep and three people get into trouble. Also I think somebody said a hotel worker also got into trouble trying to rescue them al seems odd to me unless some other factor is in play here.

Swimming is a LIFE SKILL and should always be a priority for parents to ensure children are compitent...

A total tragedy, such a shame BUT there is NO requirement by law for a Lifeguard to be present. As it stands in the UK all that is required is prominent bather notices, as have most UK hotels and holiday parks. I would say this is not the case everywhere abroad but i have seen hotel signage myself.

Most family hotel pools are under 6 feet deep and most average hight adults that can't swim so well can 'bob' off the bottom comfortably.

IMO, the cold (out of season) and the panic of poor swimmers would/could of led to this... So very sad if that is the case.

Have to confess I’m not a good swimmer. My dad was a great swimmer, my brother & sister too, but something didn’t click with me for some reason & I’ve never really bothered since. Therefore now I’m terrified of my young kids going near water in case I can’t handle a situation.

The boy is getting swimming lessons at school, but I know I should really sort myself out....

I think I heard this right that the Father and the Son where both 100cm taller than the deepest part of the pool. Police say no need for a farther investigation as it was a freak accident.

Think I smell a rat.
