I don't breed any thing till I need one, and then only if they good enough, the studs I use are only dogs I have seen run or work a fair bit and like, I wont use something just cos its fashionable, I keep my own council where breeding dogs is concerned.

When people say they need to cover food etc, then they’re only after money, if they couldn’t afford the food etc then they should not have bred the dog in the 1st place.

most of the people moaning about prices don't bread they buy in and let someone else do all the thinking  and worrying, cleaning up shit etc,, dealing with idiots wanting to bid at a pup at 10 at night , pissed up telling you how good their fkn dog is .

Why was your docking so expensive two crow ? How big was the litter ?

I gave couple spaniels away when i bred a litter all were a picture of health docked very well socialised and sold a couple the two that paid money for theres seemed more grateful than those that was given theres. When ya see what folk will pay for a lilac frenchie a dapple dashund or one of those silly american bully things i dont think some the prices about for a lurcher or terrier are too bad.

8 docking dewclaws  and now they chip at the same time they are tiny now they have to be done because of the docking.

and all them are a vets dream lol when I had my c section sunday morn the vet had just had some bulldog or other and said its every time they breed, thought it was brilliant to get someone who knows what they on with,lol I was just un lucky.

Had same to 8 pups think it worked out at 40 odd quid a pup if i remember rightly. But then its worth paying bit more if its a sensible vet.

a mate recond he knew a vet that would do them for a fiver a pup but I never even asked who to be fair,

When I bred I sold a couple of pups to cover food,vet checks,worming,chipping why would I drain my bitch an own funds for another man/men/womens gain to give pups away at my cost don’t make sense you need to break even without taking the piss out of working lads any litter to rear correctly cost money I think offering a couple of pups for sale as £150/180 is not the end of the world I don’t think most working dog lads if they got anything about them expect stuff for free any way they appreciate time an effort put in to well reared pup. I get what your on about when you see people offering pups at 350-400 ago these people are clearly in it for the dosh same people have litter after full litter for sale an never keep a pup out the litter

Aye heard about this i think you done well to steer clear lol. One thing i will say see alot of vets doing the dock too long for my liking.

now its funny you say that I like to leave 2 thirds on its only the last inch or two that gets damaged, when I first did it I thought I was wrong but now I am happy with it

Doesn't cost alot to rear  pups properly anyboby thats says it does that is there choice pups can get reared properly for a couple hundred pound 100 to 150 is enough to.pay for a pup
