ive nothing worth stealing but living rural ive known plenty of folks targeted by thieves for what little they do have from heating oil to a pensioners savings... ragnar is here to protect my dad and my daughter, hes excellent with kids and stockbroken... he has free range over 20 acres and sleeps in the house most nights

Here's my guard dog she's more there as a deterrent and as a warning system I have done man work with her but nothing to a protection dog standard but she's a good guard dog

We had 4 or 5 builders walk in the back yard the other day to do our roof and they weren't coming through the gate until the wife said it was ok

But once he new all was well he enjoyed there fuss and they seemed to know his cross and had a chat about him

not some thing I encourage though and would rather he just lay down and shut up lol and the lurchers bloody useless :laugh:

penda have u had any friends try a mock break in to ur yard where the bitch is kept.and if so how dose she react.she is a smashing bitch good bone to her.

no mate but I've had people rattle the gate and wind her up the other side of the gate and stuff like that she reacts pretty well and I've had people come into the garden when my backs turned believe me she lets them know there not welcome

My bitch 1st time she ever saw the sleeve she hit it like a pro some people think it's easy to get a dog to bite a sleeve including myself and was wondering why my mate who bred her was so chuffed with her then when he showed another dog older then her that didn't want to know I understood what he meant

We don't keep much at home now,...but,.. if I was to purchase a Guard dog,...it would be something like this....... :victory:
