keepitcovert 842 Posted March 21, 2016 Report Share Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) Most guys on here of my generation are familiar with the film KES inspired by the book a kestrel for a knave, in my mind one of the best british films ever made, But a book that made a great impression on me as a kid was Wild Lone a book by Denys Watkins Pritchard pen name BB. It was about a fox written from the foxes point of view, which in the mind of a 9 year old when i read it was about as radical as you could get . Did any books have the same effect on you. neems 2,406 Posted March 21, 2016 Report Share Posted March 21, 2016 Meditations,A book of five rings,The poetic Eddas and a huge book called something like 'the working dog' it was a massive encyclopedia on different types of types of working dog and rough summary of how they're trained/bred etc,I lost that when I was about 15 unfortunately.
