I've just seen on the news that Manchester Police are looking at pulling tyson in fo a complaint about his comments. Wtf? I don't agree with most of what the man says but he's entitled to his opinions... I wonder who made the complaint.. has David haye turned QE?

Maybe the police want to book him for his comments about paedophilia becoming mainstream and acceptable. They ignored the establishment abusing children and the widespread abuse of children in Rotheram and elsewhere. It wasn't politically advisable to arrest those responsible.

Fury is entitled to his views whether people like them or not.

I was not a Fury fan at all before the fight and I wouldnt say in the slightest that I am now. But he deserved to win the fight, therefore he deserves to be world champion.

 

Looking past that his comments have been based on his religion. So abu hamza can rage radical waving his hook in the middle of the street and women from middle east can walk the streets in burkhas and we cant say a thing? But a man who is born in this country, raised with views and a religion that have been in this country for thousands of years... he can't talk about it???

If you mean big in status, I couldn't disagree more unfortunately Francie mate, I'll grant you that the "establishment" is not over enamored with outspoken Christians, but let's not pretend Tyson Fury is a good example of a Christian, he simply isn't. I listened to a radio interview of him with Jeremy Vine, it was embarrassing. He was saying the bible says this and that when it doesn't . . Talking impure . . Other folk on the phone had a job to get a word in edge ways! It reminding me of the following verses:

 

Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;

 

Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Spot on that. Never really liked the man before winning the world title and I haven't really changed my opinion.

 

But credit where it's due. He did the job and now should be allowed to enjoy his moment/s.

 

Like others have said, if a Muslim had said the things he's said then nobody would have even picked him up on it. But because he's white, Christian, English and working class they don't like it. He's the medias worst nightmare I think. Doesn't roll over and let them tickle his belly.
