Some cracking dogs lads. As a kid 35 years ago we was brought up on a council estate. Dad bought a Russell pup £5 it was reared in a rabbit hutch before we got it at 5 weeks old. I took it everywhere.ferreting dog, ratting dog and enter to fox at the ripe old age of 8 only because that was its 1st opportunity. Lived until 16 years old too. Best fiver my dad ever spent.

I go on about this sort of thing to my kids all the time. I walk around my old council estate now and see nothing but shite, un kept gardens, rubbish everywhere and just no pride. When I grew up every garden was a picture even though no one had sod all.

Back in the day every street had a pigeon man, lurcher man, terrier man or the rabbit man with his ferrets and nets. Most gardens had all the above and more but the one thing that was taught above all else was good stock keeping and pride in what you'd got.

Dilly you know what I said about pigeon lofts. You'll be building one next. Lol
