    Would it be a problem with false negatives ? Would you be out checking every other hour when a mouse or other animal sets the sensor off? . My friend installs cameras that can be watched on your phone at any time . Think you need internet signal on your phone tho . I will ask him if they do motion sensor ones

    In one of my squirell books a bloke used his dog to tree a squirell on the opposite site to him so the squirell went to the opposite side of the trunk to the dog for the guy to shoot the squirell

    I'm going to build myself the housing for the ferrets . Going to have the cage in my hunting shed . Will make it as big as possible for them. 2 levels easy . Plan on having a court aswell on the patio so that they can be outside all day but don't fancy having them outside on the patio in the night after reading about all the thieves pinching ferrets . I know daytime they could get robbed but less chance I think plus they get the air and sunshine . My shed is literally right under my bedroom window and padlocked . Plus absolutely any noise on the patio in the night and my dog is up and barkin

    I ferret once or couple of times a week in the season but out of season they don't get worked but still give them plenty of exercise letting them walk round my local field or just playing in there cage. There's a book called complete guide to ferrets by James McKay will tell you all you need to know. Brian Plummer has couple of good books also. As already said try get out with someone before you buy all the gear so you know it's for you. Atb mate I've just read the James McKay book . Really , really good book .     Thats where people like you and me's thinking is half wrong/half right The majority of the UK do see them for what they are . Problem is they dont spend ANY time with "Normal" people in the UK . The people the socialise and see and interact with for 98% of their life will be people exactly like them . When they go out on the piss they socialise with their own kind(celebrities etc) . They dont stand at the bar and strike up a conversation with "Terry the office worker " or "dave the builder" . That in itself isnt a problem . It is what it is .     If i get into ferrets im going to have to give this little lady a go and see how she does . When we got her we were told American Bulldog/Rottweiler but she looks more staf than bulldog . So not much hunting genetics id imagine but i will give her a go . Failing that it will be nice to have her with me out and about and shes small enough to lob over a fence or gate if i come across a padlocked gate on my permission as i have done before . out Sadly theirs no chance i can take this lump out with me .     I love some of the debated on here . When they start I love reading both sides of the arguments. Then links and facts get thrown in and I lose my train of thought then ......... I forget what we were talking about Was it ethnics in the countryside ?
