  1. This may very quickly become the new badger. And the sheep industry in these areas will be negatively affected. I said on the groups Facebook page that I would support re-introduction, as long as the animals are given the same legal status as foxes. That way a landowner could choose whether or not to have them on the place. Didn't go down very well....
  2. Just seen that this dog is back up for sale on Facebook. Poor b*****d...
  3. I've got plenty of hobbies. I could retire tomorrow and not be bored.
  4. It happens with a lot of careers. I read once on a U.S. Veterans website that "PTSD is the realisation that you will never be that cool again".

  6. In the loading, or with a coloured filter on, a spotted or brown cat will look black. There were a few cats shot after the licences came into effect. I'm pretty certain there are no big cats in the UK.
  7. Yes. In terms of shooting quarry, there are no conditions attached to an SGC.
  8. Ok.....erm......that's a lovely Xmas photo mate. One of the family is it?... That was my first thought at seeing the photo!
  9. to day talking to a mate who lives by me , is picking up a bitch boerboel pup next week from London . he said it from top import working lines, and its cost him £ 1600 quid , bloody hell my 2 dogs only cost £ 40 quid lol. he had it as guard dog, he works away a lot so his mrs is on her own fair bit. he got male dogs there all ready (hounds) he was advised to get a bitch , as a male boerboel can be very dominant, so bitch be easier to keep with the other dogs . I still think a bel/mal or good gsd be better and cheaper to buy ..!! That price wouldn't surprise me as my mates dog was £
  10. Will this be a pure wheaten breeding?
  11. Even on a hunting site the outrage bus is being fired up over this legal and humane pest control. I particularly like the outrage in the original photo that the Cubs were killed. What did the anti expect the guys to do? Kill the vixen and then let the Cubs starve or take them away to be bottle fed?People are losing their minds over photos of this. And let's not forget the international outrage and policy changes that were the result of the legal hunt of 'Cecil' the lion. Yet in most of the 'developed' world it is perfectly legal (and increasingly sociably acceptable) for a woman to murder her

  13. Old School on here has a 1/4 beddy 3/4 grey dog.
  14. Well, you would be a bit upset if she went waway for a romantic weekend and left you at home... Mate I'd be glad of the break hard keeping up with these younger women 'And that's how you wave a bloody towel lad!' http://www.nairaland.com/538429/wave-towel
  15. The comments make interesting reading. Anyone else see the irony in the Pakistani community complaining that recent Kurdish immigrants don't integrate?

  18. Don't know the law in Ireland, but on the mainland there have been cases of people using lethal force (knives) to protect their dogs and not being charged.
  19. Don't worry about photos on Facebook. Just use the following magic words and everything will be fine 'pre-ban' 'shot and retrieved' and 'road kill'. Recently saw a wonderful example on Facebook recently, a lad holding a dead badger covered in soil with a terrier in the PIC, claiming it was roadkill!
  20. Cheers worst case I'll go get it myself on Wednesday, but would be good if someone is heading that way anyway...
  21. I've got a terrier to move Crewe to Gloucester asap. Anyone driving that way who wants some fuel money pm me your mobile number. Cheers
  22. West Wales/shotgunWas it a double barrel or a semi auto? If it is held on an FAC then it must be conditioned for use. I doubt it will have been conditioned for the protection of livestock. A possible avenue of investigation?Farmers do not have a legal right to shoot dogs. Shooting someone else's dog without their permission is criminal damage. What farmers do have is a defence in law against such a claim, if it can be proven that the dog was worrying livestock and there was no other way to prevent the worrying. Livestock worrying is defined as (a)attacking livestock, or (b)chasing livestock
