I was working on a house in the middle of town last october and i was literally 5 yards from one in next doors garden. He just sat there looking at me. Madness.

Had a call in the week from my brother who is a keeper asking to have a look at a spot he noticed pulled out less than 50 yards from one of his partridge pens. Got there this evening and found the spot which looked promising so i let my bitch and a sniff around the entrances. She wasnt to keen on the main ones but was straining to get in a less busy looking one so i checked the collar, set her up and let her go. Well it was literally straight in and straight on like a rocket, no messing and baying nice and steady from the off. Gave it a while and got a mark at 0.6....nice easy start back!

Might be having a look at a spot holding near a partridge pen sunday evening. Will be leaving it as late as possible though.

Not my cup of tea rabbiting, but we have them at home and mines seen them everyday since she was pup but i wouldnt let them out with her.

Mine did it the first time she bolted a big dog fox. Went in baying fine, then come out stuck her face out at me then went stright back to it for 10 mins and it bolted. The majority of blokes would have binned my bitch but i only have her so could afford to give her plenty of time and chances and last season she proved that she was worth the effort. Main highlight was a dig after a far more experienced dog couldnt bottle the quarry up. Wasnt deep but awkard for us digging a thick blackthorn hedge thoguh pretty much pure flint. Also had a 5ft do on my brothers shoot at the end of the season

Mine took a kick to the head from a horse 2 years ago. Knocked her out cold and it was f*****g terrifying. She come round after a few mins and after an hour of feeling sorry for herself she was back to her usual self. she was very sore for a couple of days though. Just keep an eye on him and if something dont seem right get it checked out

i wouldnt but im certain pet owners would. If i couldnt walk my own dogs and had to rely on someone else to do it i wouldnt keep them.

When i did countryside management and sparsholt the final BIG assisngment at the end of the second year was a mock up of a business plan as if we were creating our own business. It taught you how to go about setting up your own business, all of the ins and outs ect. Pretty useful if its what you fancy doing

Would this guy live down near me and written a few books as he told me the same thing when i did some work at his kennels for him nope mate, the guy lives up north, an widnae even read a book never mind write 1 ahaha a few members on this site was on the dig while we were having the conversation last season as it goes Haha fair enough! Ive been told the same as you though by a very experienced guy that everyone has heard of so there may be something to it Would this same man say use a stick??LOL A man who detested hard terriers yet used many when he could

When i was a kid i saw a girl fall off a swing and she got up clutching her thumb and the nail hanging off and to this day when ever i bend a finger nail right back i feel as sick as a pig. Also i forgot to lock the blade on my opinel knife about 6 years ago. When i went to use it the blade snapped shut straight across the end joint of my middle finger resulting in the end of my finger hanging off basically. Had the tendons and ligaments stiched back and had to keep my finger in a splint for 2 months. The injury didnt hurt but teaching my finger to bend again after 2 months of not moving w

Every terrier ive dug to has been wagging its tail like it been trying to take off at the break through. That coupled with sharp flinty ground we have down here would be like slashing the tail with a razor blade

a well deserved win i think. Haye was lookng wel conditioned and fitter than ive ever seen him though. His head movement is very impressive i think but he was severly out boxed
