    which ever way you decide to do it nothing will teach the pup and you more than going out into the countryside. I brought my current terrier on without any help from experienced lads or dogs. For sure its a harder way of doing it but still alot of fun

    yeh little egret. I remember seeing one about 15years ago for the first time in Poole harbour when they were pretty rare visitors and now they are everywhere you look down here. Very nice birds

    i think there is a small group of deicated beddy followers that breed a good working strain. The KC bunch are a total embarressment as with any other breed they ruin Edit to say by working strain i mean digging dogs, not messing with rabbits

    Took the terrier for a run round the farm today and then had a walk round the usual route which is unfortunatly used by every idiot and their fat pet, the sort of place which has a bag of shit hanging from every tree. Walking down a straight stretch of track i spotted a couple and a small white JRT about 100yards away so i put mine on the lead which i ALWAYS do when i see another dog on or off the lead ahead. Mine aint a fighter or in any way vicious as i have found with most working dogs. They seem to have alot self respect than the fat pets! Anyway these 2 fools are walking along ha

    How did your season go? I had the best one so far. My bitch is turning out to be a good steady terrier. Baying up until the break through then gets a bit excited and grabs hold if the quarry tries to make a break for it. Considering how well this one has been compared to others it is very difficult to call it over for the summer. Will still probably get a few last sundays out on the call outs on the shoot but nothing major. Heres to a lazy summer
