  4. Thats the course my mate did, he did his level 2 though and is working on his level 3 i think. We are going to spend the first week or so traveling around the farms he runs his photography coruses from, mainly around the waterberg area and hoedspruit. He knows some people that will let us shoot some baboons which are pretty much taking over the farm and for a few rand shoot an impala. The last part we are renting a lodge in Marloth Park right along side Crocodile river and spending alot of time in and around Kruger. I literally cannot wait. When i met my mate he hand not long nmoved here f
  5. Im off to South Africa for 3 weeks in september. My best mate isa fulled trained guide and runs his own wildlife photography business out there, so i get the whole 'safari' experience away from the tourist trail and also visiting a few places that arent open to the public such as a nursery for orphaned lion cubs. Plenty of time for photography, fishing and a bit of shooitng. Nice pics!
  6. I do it but soaking cotton buds in bleach and then cover the skull in them
  7. Took these photos of a roe buck on the shoot my brother is the keeper on. I had to stalk about 200yrds down a noisey stoney track, then crawl on my belly for 50 odd yrds to get that bit closer. He realised something wasnt right so bolted into the field about 30yrds. He then started barking and trying to scent me, but couldnt as the wind was in my favor so started walking closer until he had enough and slowly trotted off. Whilst stalking him a hare ran towards me and a sparrowhawk flew right over me aswell! No adjusting just straight from the camera.
  8. I shouldnt watch it becase im gunna get f*****g wound up but i cant help myself
  9. Iv been trying to get some good snaps of a nice roe buck i manged to photograph a few weeks ago, and this evening i managed to get close enough for a few decent snaps. Had to belly craw for about 50yards again....got within 30 yards and they got a bit jumpy and ran off another 40 yeards or so. With a bit more crawling i got close enough again. Still new to photoagraphy and my camera so im sure they could be a lot better.
  10. ditch the rower and run. Do it where there are people and if you have any pride you would rather run until you spew instead of stop infront of people haha
  11. Looks a different dog, although it looks like it was clipped instead of stripped
  12. As best as i could. Its just behind his back yard so he can go back and give it a proper tidy when he rolls out of bed in the morning when its light
  13. Cheers guys. Bearinator - im far from a proper terrierman, i just get out and enjoy myself. Mudd - it was good fun, bit exciting....apart from having a lamp shone in my face. Got me kacks soaking in some oven cleaners at the moment to get the stains out haha.
  14. Its your dog so its up to you but if its bred to work then it should be used to work i say. Plenty of other breeds to lie on the sofa with.
  15. Cheers guys. His wife gave him a quick call, he was gutted he couldnt have been there to see the end of her first dig, but thats the way it goes! JayJay, i think anyone who works terriers would help anyone out if they needed it, regardless to whether it was for a mate. It was only a small place thankfully and the tubes ran along the bank, not into it.
  16. Cheers mate. It was a bit exciting to say the least. Dont fancy doing to much night time work again haha.
  17. Ive not long been in from helping out a friend in a bit of bother. I was at home putting my feet about ready to tuck into a roast dinner when the phone rang. A good friend was on the other end in a bit of a panic. His 17month old black bitch had done a runner out of the back garden and after looking for about hour and a half heard her baying and getting stuck in behind their house at the top of an old pond. Problem was that my friend was due in work at 5 (it was now twenty to) and being a door man working a sinlge man club he had to be there. Could i go meet his wife in the wood asap?? Of
