  5. Went out today on the part of the shoot that very rarely gets checked. Its used for the rough shoots and is left quiet and well alone. After a few weeks of blanks i wasnt very hopeful and after checking about a half dozen places with no success we were starting to think 'another one of those days!' Come to a spot in a plantation, about 3pm ish, thick with cover so i wasnt to hopeful. The holes had a very large amount of spoil outside them but looked shallow so i guess it must be a pretty ranbgey place. My bitch was whining on the lead so i let her go. After about 2 mins she was baying nice

  12. That kingspan stuff is great, use it at work in extensions and stuff
  13. I know exactly where that is and i certainly would be having a dog running after things there. Pretty sure the ground is sandy aswell so if the terrier buggered off to ground after a rabbit it could well cave in by the time you get a tool to dig it out. If you have permission then shoot it. I cant remember if the road to Wool has a pavement on it or not, and im pretty the field must be out of view of the swanage road because the bank goes down from the field to the road. Just call the shooting log at the police station and let them know you are going out lamping P.S many rabbits there are
  14. I always chuck mine on the lead when ever another i see another dog coming. Most of the time the other person doesnt so if things kick off im not to blame! It pisses me off when people say 'its ok, he/she just wants to say hello. Retards
  15. That first photo has got to be a set up by them!! Surely nobody would walk away from that and think "yep...thats what you call an artificial"
  16. Noticed my terrier bitches teats were looking swollen, not the actual teat but around it and when gently squeezed milk is discharged which shocked me! She isnt in season or due in season so im a tad concerned. Has anyone else had this? She isnt looking any differnet in condition, ive been trying to get a bit of weght off her as she piles in she is in season. Has anyone got advice or had this with their own bitch?
  17. Does he get shown on in the stop end at the end of each dig? He may have figured that he can get to have a bit of a play without doing the work.
  18. Good vid! One thing thats always confused me is shooting up at a steep angle from the ground, for example alot of my shooting is at crows/pigeon that land in tall trees whislt i sit in cover at the base. I have to aim well below above the cross hair. It kind of makes sense why you have to do this, but when i try to think about it more it confuses me haha
  19. This may be a daft question but i was told when i was researching the scope i now use that if you zero on a different magnification to what you shot at then the zero will be different when you change the magnification later on. Also the same with the mildots ect. Is this true to any extent?
  20. Dont go to tesco, i replaced mine other week and cost me £8!!

  22. Digging and ratting. Ratting is bloody great fun, especially in the partridge pens where there is no escape and they are bolting from every single hole.
