  5. Thanks folks 6Pack, you can bring them over in batches and I'll do their portraits for you ... when the sprogs go back to school we'll sort it and I'll come play at yours
  6. 6Pack, and another friend of ours, came over for a little walk yesterday. Well, they said they came for the walk but they demolished the chocolate cheesecake I made, and I reckon that was the real reason for the visit Anyhoo, here's a few pics from our afternoon. Hope you enjoy. My wee cut and shut is still ... wee ...
  7. Typical man, wandering aimlessly round the kitchen and can't make up his mind what to eat
  8. If you're going to keep them in the house, crate train them. Have some patience with it, they won't take to it straight away. Even if you're going to kennel them, they can do some serious damage to a kennel if they're bored. You need to make sure they're exercised well before you go out, and that they've got something to keep the boredom at bay. Big raw bones from the butchers are usually good but not if the dogs are together, as they could fight over them and you'll come home to a worse mess than ripped up flooring. Another good thing to keep them busy is one of these: http://www.myvetm
  9. What noise sort that feckin thing out i've got kids in the house. better? I have to say, I'm getting a bit weary hiding your, erm, interesting avatars from my nosey 7 and 6 year olds
  10. Where I come from the folks on the till do the packing for you. Imagine my surprise when I first moved here, and the woman said to me 'do you want help packing?' .... I said something like 'um no isn't that your job?'. She wasn't amused, and neither was I! They shoot it through at 100mph, and then look at you like your a window licker 'cause you're working up a sweat trying to cram it all into the bags before your hands get crushed by a flying tin of beans. I take my own bags now, since the ones they give you for free couldn't hold a loaf of bread without splitting open.
  11. That's not nice at all! ... I've never been to Majorca and I don't watch Jeremy Kyle
  12. Thanks Muttle ... been doing a lot of reading and practising. Proper love playing with the camera - almost as much as I love playing with the horses
  13. Dude!! How's things? How's Blaine? Nice to know you're alive
  14. Lab as long as it's the owner and not the horses I'm alright with it The horse in the top picture is only 2, and he was a bit norty about posing for me ... but at least he didn't trample me. I did two horses there in the area a while back and they near enough ran right over me! And thank you very much Romany
  15. Tears running down my cheeks reading this  : :clapper: Me too!!! In fact this thread has been a brill read ... totally cheered me up
  16. Thanks to a Discovery advert, I rediscovered just how much I love this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXsmyLtpxlA&ob=av2e
  17. Just thought I'd share a few more pics of the horses I've been photographing local to me. I've been fortunate to make a few friends at the livery stables, so been getting my name about for next year when I'm hoping to do a little bit of part time photography on the side. For now, gaining the experience is invaluable and I'm really enjoying it. Hope you like 'em
  18. Getting that close would be like a dream come true for me. The most I ever see of a fox is when it's skittering off in the distance. Well done
  19. Anybody who has an ounce of knowledge about keeping and breeding dogs knows that waiting six weeks before you bother to confirm/abort a pregnancy is just plain stupid. If she's six weeks in, she's not been on the right diet all this time. Aborting her at this stage of the game is very bad for her indeed - physically but more so mentally. If her health was top priority for you, you'd have sorted this out sharpish. I've got no respect for someone who meekly says ooops my dog got caught whilst on lead and I really didn't know etc etc. Not after that person already had an accidental mating from an
  20. I dont want any more pups if I can get them aborted I will she is in excellent shape at the moment do you really think I want this after all the problems Ive had with the other pups you know as you were going to try and get up for one its a nightmare. I would rather pay if I can get it sorted than my bitch being dragged down yes I should of kept ahold of my bitch instead of passing her to him to put my other dog on the lead. With her being so late in her heat and only a few seconds I thought which was bloody stupid of me that she wouldnt be pregnant. I have failed and Im a stupid cow does a
