They do get a lot of benefits. They also get the short end of the proverbial stick a lot of the time. Some years ago I was involved in the investigation of misappropriation of funds that were given for a rehab centre by the Canadian Gov't. The way they blew that money - and how they thought we wouldn't find the trail - was epic. They trod on their own folks so they could have a good time. It was disgusting. As ever, there are good and not so good in every group. Kelowna is a pretty nice place, been there myself

They make great freezy pops for the dogs on a hot day Just take it out of the freezer, chuck it out in the garden for them and they're happy. I feed tripe regularly, along with everything else. Stinks like hell, but it's a good part of a well rounded diet imo.

Oh crikey .... :11: That made me laugh I know a lot of people who leave a radio on for the dogs, both in the house and out in the kennel. It does have a tendency to block out remote sounds that might set the dog off barking. Also keeps them company, I suppose. It's worth it, if you ask me.

I could never take a group seriously who carry on like those louts. As an immigrant I actually oppose mass immigration, and the rights of some people to cover their heads, ignore this country's laws, and take the piss out of the government. But nobody seems able to have an intelligent argument about it all without obvious disdain.
