Litter bugs, people who don't pick up their dog sh!t off pavements/kids parks etc., men with long fingernails , people who interrupt you when you're talking, macho men, old people in Honda Jazz's, really fat people on mobility scooters, mental parents at kids' football matches, bullies. Gosh I could go on for hours

I was in my office in Ottawa when it happened. I tried to go on line to look up a number for something and it was jammed, couldn't get on. Went into my boss's office to let him know, looked down 20 floors and there was pandemonium on the streets - cars abandoned, people making frantic calls on their mobiles. Bearing in mind, I was working a stone's throw from the Canadian Parliament buildings at the time. I remember thinking ... wtf?! Eventually we found out what happened. We had offices in New York. I remember standing there thinking ... if they do this here, we're all dead, given it was the

You're right there Mil. But in my view, the kids get good exposure to that sort of thing at school or their friend's places. Mine all have ipads in class - I don't even have one of them ffs lol They are allowed to play on their gadgets at home but only for limited time. I find kids who sit on those for a while playing games get a right nark on - grumpy when they can't win or figure something out, introverted because they just want to play and not raise their heads. So they can have a bit of time on them but not as much as they can have on their bikes or out with the dogs. All mine will grump w

Day at the permission ratting and mooching Swimming in the River Ribble On our jollies in the lakes I've got hundreds of them out and about all over the place, they come up on my screensaver when the PC is on. When I watch the pictures I think to myself how lucky they are - not just because so many kids these days sit in front of an xbox for hours at a time and miss out on fun like this, but also because I grew up in a massive city and would've given anything for a childhood like theirs. Outdoor kids are the best kind

Not just Dads ... I like to play basketball with my kids. Went to the court with them, and my son is a bit aggressive about getting the ball. So there I am, guarding him whilst trying to get in place for a jump shot and he trips me up. Face first, glasses flying, star fish on the court ... in front of a bunch of kids on the other side who where having a kick about. Ffs. One of those 'no no, I'm fine, haha weren't that funny' moments when you quickly limp off somewhere to sob quietly so they can't hear you At this moment mine are only 8 and 9 so I'm still hovering on the edge of Cool M

She was still your queen, even before you got here! Always has been, always will be Something I've found in my ten years in England ... seems I'm more patriotic than most English folks I meet Thats what you get when you are taught to be ashamed and guilty about your culture, history and heritage from an early age.. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's a damn shame.. There are patriotic English people out there and plenty of them, but in Wales and Scotland you are taught to be proud of your heritage and celebrate all things Welsh/Scottish from an early age in the schools.

Are Chicken Carcasses Safe
lurchergrrl replied to ferreting123456's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I personally xray'd a dog that had eaten cooked turkey carcass. You really can't imagine the mess it made - the dog died, painfully. Strange vet. It may have been chicken bones he said, was a long time ago. What type of dog was it you x-ray'd? She was a piggish little Westie called Maggie, who regularly over ate ... she'd been in over Christmas the year before after eating a whole lot of chocolate To be fair she was not fed a varied, raw/bones-inclusive diet. Bearing in mind this was (cough cough) some years ago But what I saw on that xray stayed with me so I just never fee -
