  1. Razors are expensive Pat .... I save that chore for special occasions, like lamping
  2. Well done you for helping to sort her out. That face of hers ... so sad I can't grasp how people can be so cruel. Be really interested to see how she shapes up over the coming weeks.
  3. If they were trained to pick up the trash I wouldn't have any neighbours left
  4. Most on here know I'm tight about letting the kids sit in playing video games or staring at the tv ... the kids call me for it now but they'll thank me later I reckon. Most days the tv isn't on at all - that's saying something during the summer holidays. Himself has been teaching them to swim in rivers, we've been on a holiday in the Lakes (no tv whatsoever), bike rides on the canal, killing rats, walking for miles, hiding in hedgerows watching deer in the evening sun ... cheap and cheerful good times; what more can a kid want Life is fair good at the moment
  5. The pic with the Skittles had me in stitches ... I've sent it to the Skittles people just for sh!ts and giggles lol Jonah she's actually a chocolate patt. Lovely dog but still a patt and thus a proper little madam cow bag yup, i bought mine as a Patterdale, but i just refer to her now as a fell, she's a clever little cow the one of mine, never leaves my side unless i'm grafting.... I don't know much about patt's and terriers in general ... my only experience with terriers is my little ginger ninja, made up of unknown gypsy breeding. He's brilliant at marking and retrievi

  7. ... when my kids go back to school in September and get asked 'what did you do on your holidays?' Yesterday we did this: The kids actually argued over who got to carry the bucket of dead rats We mostly just went for a wander on the permission tho, which makes for a much better day than hanging around on the street or in the park across the road
  8. You Want To Try Sleeping In A Car There In Winter lol , Waiting For The Hounds In The Morning , Me & Taffey Off Here Done It A Few Times And It Never Gets Any Better I think I'll skip the sleeping in the car bit, but waiting for the hounds in the morning I could do We stayed at a place called Black Beck caravan park. Great place near Newby Bridge, good for the kids - nice little park and duck pond on it, safe enough to let the sprogs play out on their own, but no naff holiday club with dancing bears or owt I was fortunate enough to get there with someone who knows the area wel
  9. I love Dynamo ... I don't care how he does it ... 'real' magic, or trickery or whatever - he amazes people and puts smiles on their faces. I'd rather not know what the truth is behind it. He makes people happy, that's good enough for me. Plus he's got beautiful eyes lol
  10. I think it was lanesra! Driving up there was a bit mental, scared the crap out of me
  11. I won a holiday for a week at a five star caravan, so chose a site in the Lakes and off we set with the sprogs for some fun. First time I've been up there ... and what can I say, I'm in love with the place Saw plenty of game, beautiful scenery, lovely shops. By far one of the best holidays I've had. Can't wait to go back.
  12. Those things can carry rabies ... I wouldn't have touched it
  13. He was a great actor. A mental scene from True Romance ... he could be such a scary mofo http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ba7_1254440107 Such a shame.

  17. 100% Women are far worse when given power or climbing up to it You only say that 'cause you have a climb a ladder to reach them. Touche  They say tall, Canadian women are the worst The worst at climbing big f*ck off hills maybe, but pretty damn good at everything else. It must be hard to see that in a person from all the way down there!
  18. Feel right out of place? Nah ... I got a feeling you'll do a smashing job.

  20. My first corporate job was in an office of women I was so naive, thinking what a great learning experience it would be, all these career women there to guide me, and never a shortage of plasters or aspirin considering the amount of handbags there would be floating about How wrong I was! What a nightmare - cuthroat, competitive, bitchy, backstabbing load of horrible, gossiping cows. Worst job ever. I've always had a good circle of girlfriends tho - some going back almost 30 years. And I've had lots of guy friends too because for some strange reason I like their company lol the older I
