  1. Oh sorry pal. TBH I just read the list of names and didn't go any further. I'll have a look now. Sorry again. Jok.
  2. Walshie. What is the location? Jok.
  3. Bit early for baskets son. Fair enough get some plants bought in but you'll need to keep them in the greenhouse. Fushia, geranium, lobelia, begonia, trailing variegated ivy to name but a few. I'll be setting my baskets mid April for putting out in the middle of May'ish. Jok.
  4. Nice one Terry. I think I am at about the same stage. Garlic are looking same as yours, as I said 1 st earlies in, tomatoes plants going well, and all the other early stuff going strong. I remember last year though. That frost caught us out a treat so keeping everything back a fortnight. Doris ripped the polythene off my new tunnel but I think next week will be repair time. Just a quickie. Do you pre soak your sweet corn in the same way as peas? Never grown it before. Just read as well that it is a good time to transplant chilli plants (2 leaves formed) into 3" pots ready for late April plant
  5. Mark. Someone else will pick up on this so no harm done. Jok.
  6. Yes mate. I agree totally. Just the fact I have one going. ATB Jok.
  7. You dream up some classics pal. Now how do we spirit this Fly Press to your part of the world? Jok.
  8. Got a MK 1 deden with 2 collars looking for a new home. Recently reconditioned by Jim Chick (on here) so in great working order. 8ft. £150.00. Buys plus postage. Jok.
  9. Don't forget to buy some bells lol.jok
  10. Get yourself up here as well Welsh. I ain't got a clue. Jok.
  11. That has just made my night. . I hope none of your customers read that.lol. Jok.
  12. Stodgy. Where was LHG when all this was going on.? Bet he was in the warm with a glass lol. Jok.
  13. That's my question answered then. No regard for quarry as no expense spared. Just shoot the fckers. I've no problem with that pal but my butcher wouldn't be impressed. LOL? Slightly getting off the thread if I may. Colour of eyes? Do you long shot guys give this any consideration or do you defo know what is in the line of sight? Clearly I'm on about 4 legs. I ask because I had a scare. Jok.
  14. I hear you and appreciate that it is done. Just wondering? At. 400 yds which again Inthink is ludicrous, which part of the target are you going for? I remember a friend of mine saying can you see that hare which was 3 fields away? At the time I was into a 300 win mag. Scoped and took the shot. When we got to the target all that was left was a silhouette. Point I'm making is we kill for food. This sounds like kill with no regard. Only my blind as a bat opinion. Jok. .
  15. Underdog. Yes but at what? I've shot at the barracks but obviously controlled, red flags RO etc. Some of these shots are, to say the least, extreme. I tried the other morning to view a bird at approximately 400 yds and to be honest I could'nt have taken the shot. It was a pigeon. Now I know optics are the key but for your Mr average these shots just going to occur. Jok.
  16. There's an 8" and a 12" from USA at right money but I'm sure that someone, maybe on here, was using one of those fairly deep wallpaper scrapers. I imagine they would have had to put a bit of an edge on it but seems like an inexpensive option. PS? Still got something hanging up in my workshop. Jok.
  17. Spot on idea that. The New Zealand hunting and fishing forum might be worth a go as we'll. I'sent one or two boxes to that neck of the woods. Jok.
  18. Not at Catterick by any chance?? Should be doing you a favour July 1st?? Jok.
  19. Big napper. They are as near as dammit 4 yarders. There are 5. 4 are handmade with 10z nylon and I've weighted the bottom string with lead. The other is 4z from a long net off cut. 4 are set up with poles and the 5th not. Condition unused as regards the 10z but no holes or tears in any of them. As regards cost. I reckon a fiver a piece is acceptable plus postage which I would do with Hermes courier for about £6.00. Got a good bundle of hazel cut to length as well and reckon they would be a bonus. Jok.
  20. Netmaker. No reply so if you PM me I'll tell you what's what.
  21. I feel obliged to also comment on a safe backdrop. Can one be sure at such a distance and with such a small target area. To me it beggars belief. ArchieHood. Never thought I was that good pal. You learn every waking day and I'm always a keen learner. Jok.
  22. Slightly sorry for the way my comment reads. I didn't mean it quite like that. Just had a word with my mate who has a recorded kill on a crow at 584 yds. He reckons it goes on all the time and there's a guy on YouTube doing silly things. Still can't believe it cause I can't even see 300 yds never mind take a shot. What a shot pal. Jok.
