You might need to come down here after pal. I've just taken down a large smoking shelter which is 3 m square, decking boards on 4 X 2 treated timber frame bolted together in 3 parts. 4 big corner posts, 4 balustrades and about 50 m armoured cable to both a big external heater and a light. All the trunking etc is there. I reckon if you remodel the roof you'd have a hell of a starting point.jok.

Ok here we go again. I now have the shelter dismantled and back at my place. It's in very good shape and without a doubt will make a lovely workshop. As stated 3 metres square. I've kept all the electrics which are included. It's a heavy dude so needs a good long wheelbase van or trailer or curtain spider. Offers gentlemen please. Jok.

Same as Rabid. Branches are breaking with the weight of fruit. It's hopeless though as no one seems to want them. Doesn't anyone make chutney or jam anymore? I'm doing puddings, pies and as many bits and pieces as possible but I'll never use them all. Jok.

Blimey Smthie is that all of your concerns? What about black spot. Blight. Red mite. Root rot. Flipping heck that Tom looks pretty good to me. Back to your question. Don't know mate. Jok.

Advice On Damaged Bottle Threads Please Gents
jok replied to Rabid's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Rabid. Chances of that kind of damage are almost 0 per cent. I've been deep sea diving and handling bottles on and off boats, filling stations and the like. Our guys chucked these 3 litre 'pony' bottles about like bottles of lemonade and they never sustained damage. My thoughts are that someone wants a freebie and as such I would tell them to go to hell. Hopefully you were paid PayPal . Only my opinion by the way but I would say that in all the years I've been diving, I've never encountered damaged threads. Jok. -
I bought a beautiful Boker dual blade gutting knife when in Germany. Still have it. Would highly recommend as has never let me down. I just tried to get on their site but I guess it's a bad place at the momen with knife crime on the up. Jok

Yes mate. Greengage and there are thousands of them. All the fruit trees are rammed. There's going to be a lot of pies this year lol. Jok.

Nice one son. About time I got back in the workshop. Did you have a look at my fireplace, on here, by any chance. Still admiring it as we speak. Jok.

Drove round to the gates and had to have a double take. I wonder how many members did the same and didn't know what they were. Beautiful field mushrooms ffs. Along with everything else it made a nice mornings harvest. Jok.

So, Tell Us, What Are Ye All At In The Veg Garden?

Been feeding with comfrey mix and it really gets things going. Reckon this time of the year a little help doesn't go amiss. I am hoping to put some pics up of the Aubergine and chillies but won't risk it yet as all could come tumbling down. Just ordered all next years seed (and I mean all except seed potatoes) for the princely sum of £26.00 delivered to my door.Seeds Direct. Good people to deal with. Jok. -

Sussex. Normally lay them out till tops are totally yellow then string up. Bit like garlic. Had a look at mine today as I said I'd post a pic but they ain't ready. What nice pics of the chillies on here. Can almost taste the things. We are so lucky to have the joy of being able to grow and feed our families.jok. -

Nice one Terry. Thing is. Let the onions dry for a while before stringing and maybe , just maybe, you'll get a better string. Last year I had 2 strings which lasted until February before starting to regrow. Note. Not rot but regrow. My brother in law gifted me some Kelsie to about 3 lbs which I also stringed. Wrong.Wrong. Big onions seem not to like it and rot quite quickly. Someone told me to store big onions stem down in sand which apparently prolongs their life. Jok. -

Hope I can help here even if just a little. Think French and you'll be on the right track. String about 30 inches long with a 4 inch stick at the end. Your first onion twisted by the neck round the string and pulled down. Second onion exactly the same and pulled down. Gradually you will build up a string of onions which dry of there own accord as the necks are sealed by the twisting. I reckon I'm making a meal of this so will resort to pics as I pick mine. Jok. -
Adam. I have and also a reconditioned Jim Chick box. Any good?? Jok.
-
Yes that's the pic. Fantastic mate. Anytime at mine and course sleep over is optional. Jok.
-
Eh up John. Jim Chick will sort you out in a heartbeat. If not I've 3 collars. Jok.

Well what a lovely garden. We don't, as a rule, set out fruit trees as the allotment has it's communal orchard. A few of the lads do grow berries. You'll defo be eating potatoes out of that pot. Nice post from the land of sand. Jok. -
By heck son they're looking good. Presumably from them as you fetched from me. Loved the pic with little un and the dogs. Love to all and you never know might see you this season. Jok.
