  1. Which Deerhound breeder allegedly put a Deerhound x Greyhound into her dogs? Kc Found out years later I think. May have been Margret Williamson or Noble both names ring a bell. Would have done them the world of good no doubt.atb.
  2. Hancock Museum in Newcastle also a good do and free. Hancock was a hell of a taxidermist and some of his work still on show. The Gyr falcon always sticks in my mind from being a kid. There is even Chillingham cattle in there. atb.
  3. Pics are great mate. More than that though is when you got that stress free ,great to be alive feeling. Sometimes after having dogs out in spring and they are lying in sun and I'm sitting with a cupa, birds singing, it reminds me how lucky I am. Aint got a ton of money but I reckon i live a life cash can't buy. So pleased I'm no pen pusher or slave to the pound.atb.

  19. Seen swallows and martins in Hexam today. Couple of swallows a little further North this afternoon.
  20. Definitely a hunting partner Darbo I would say. Plains Indians always seem to have dogs about them in old pics. Wonder what became of Custers hounds after his demise ? Bet that man seen some sights on his ventures. He went missing one day by himself while in hostile territory. An indian scout found him next to his dead horse. He had shot it in head while getting carried away hunting with his staghounds! Lucky he weren't killed or worse found by enemy Indians or would have had a sooner demise. atb.
