The German press are really gunning for UVDL. Der Spiegel lists all her failures in German ministries. She is one of those people that we will have all come across who get promoted to a department, change everything and trumpet her successes so that she gets promoted again. And then they discover that she has left it in a mess. And this has been repeated over and over again. She always blames others, never admits it is her fault. The German army was left with no rifles and helicopters. When she was Education Minister she tried to introduce school meals and left the department in a mess that to

Verhoftwat has broken cover and even he is criticising the EU's policy. The hypocritical twunt now wants a close UK / EU relationship after years of slagging the UK off at every opportunity. Not looking good for Ursula.

This isn't the first time that VDL has cocked up as the German papers are pointing out. She was in charge of the Defence Ministry in Germany and spent so much money on creches for soldier's children that they hadn't enough money to buy guns. German troops were sent on a NATO exercise with brush handles instead of rifles aka Dad's Army. Look around the EU and it has always been staffed by failed politicians; Verhoftwat, Drunkers, Tusk, VDL and now Barmier is sensing blood and looking to oust her hoping to be the latest clown in town.

The World Health Authority, Archbishop of Canterbury, Michel Barmier and unbelievably the BBC have all waded in criticising Useless von Lederhosen's handling of the Covid crisis. Can things get any worse? Well, yes it seems that they can. Piers Morgan has waded in too. ? Still waiting for The Grauniad and Verhoftwat's opinions though.

People keep going on about the death rates yet no two countries have the same way of recording Covid related deaths. I am convinced that the UK is allowing GPs to certify Covid as cause of death even though there was no evidence of Covid having actually caused the death. It is all about preventing the need for post mortems and all the delays and negative issues a back log of dead bodies would cause. If you look at the stats for the overall death rate it doesn't reflect 100,000 extra deaths as the press are portraying.

He's Maxxed out on schite ?

Since UVL has taken over the Evil Empire they seem to be threatening and suing everybody. How the Hell can she demand that a sovereign government raid a company that is helping to sort out the Covid problem? What message does that send to any company thinking about setting up in the EU? I hope that AstraZeneca publish their agreement and show those Euroclowns up for what they are.

It seems that for once Verhoftwat has nothing to say.

They used it as an exercise to display solidarity. And they fekked up big style. Even the European newspapers are laying into the EU heirachy. They have seen through the lies and cover ups. And there is so much hypocrisy. Germany has broken ranks and ordered extra doses over and above the EU's quota. Initially the EU said that couldn't import vaccines from the EU and now they are wanting the UK to export vaccines to the EU. I can see the EU Health Minister going and I wouldn't be surprised to see Useless van Lederhosen go as well. Especially given her medical background.

They let a Greek organise it ?

Looks like a clear shot to me. Only question is; 22 or 177

The decline has been going on for a few years now. Look at the trapping section; hardly any posts and none from the likes of Moxy, John Darcy and Uncle Pesta. The airgun section became dominated by two Walts; one who continually brags about his 3,000 acre permission where he takes his home made targets and the other posting daily photos of his 30 yard grouping using a modern air rifle rested on sticks. And now the General section is dominated by a g*******e who thinks that anyone with any talent in Hartlepool is a world beater and strangles any decent threads before they get sta

For forums that use the number of clicks to get advertisers to pay somebody like Max is gold dust. But, his influence also means that some people can't be arsed to go through all the arguing and petty posts and the bullshit that he seems to thrive in, so they go elsewhere. The question is whether the increased number of posts by Max outweigh those of the decent people who have stopped posting on here. Sooner or later it will reach a tipping point when there are too few constructive, helpful people on here and the forum will never regain its former self.

Lures, flies, floats and anything else your making for fishing
Nicepix replied to kanny's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
I've just recycled an old fly rod and made a light weight Avon type rod for fishing small rivers and lakes. It used to be a Forrest & Sons of Kelso nine foot #6 rod that I used for grayling fishing. No need for that now so I took a hacksaw to it, cut a bit off here, added a bit more there and stripped all the guides and varnish off then rebuilt it after applying six coats of Tru Oil to the blank. All the guides were cleaned and replaced, the cork handle was sanded down to allow new alloy reel seats to be added and a second handle was fashioned out of a broken cork handle and some cane from -
The bottom ones are either egg flies tied to resemble loose eggs released when fish are spawning or are tied to resemble floaters, bits of floating bread or cat biscuits thrown out and then the fly is cast to where the fish is feeding. A lot of egg flies are orange or pink. I haven't seen brown ones before. No idea what the top ones are for unless they are designed to spear prawns on when salmon fishing.

I think that he needs a woman. Can we organise a crowd funding event to buy him a decent woman? Or maybe someone could donate one?

Same sort of thing happened to me. Only the wife and her younger sister who was staying in the spare room didn't believe me.

For what it is worth it is the same all over Europe, possibly the world. Here in France angling was banned until very recently but hunters could meet up in large groups and eat lunch together several times a week. The only good thing about the French rules is that they specified a distance that people were confined to. So there was none of that confusing 'local' definition left to plod to interpret.

I have read Bliar's biography. That is like his autobiography but without the lies. ? The whole system is broke. Mayors, Crime Commissioners, local and national politicians are overwhelmingly bent. The problem is that the aftermath of every revolution resulted in the ordinary people being ruled by the same types of people who they overthrew.
-
Those of us old enough to remember will recall that this is exactly the scenario that Bliar exploited to come to power. Back then the Tories were unelectable because they had become openly corrupt, and Labour were in free fall because of the leadership of Michael Foot and the union's leverage. The Labour Party as was, was basically bankrupt. In stepped Bliar with his 'New Labour' promising socialist policies to fill the gap Labour had left. Behind the scenes all the financial backers who normally supported the Tories switched their support to Bliar as they knew the Tories would not get in. Bli

I can agree with the sentiments. The House of Commons is full of career politicians who have never had a proper job and have no idea on how policies affect ordinary people. They work on models and theories they learned at political college, not real life situations. But look at the candidates who ended up in the Brexit Party. Do we really want to be ruled by idiots like that? Look at many village and town councillors. They are complete self-serving pillocks. There is no easy answer. I was saying to the wife yesterday evening; Trump has incited riots resulting in deaths, Bush & Bliar

Nigel Farage endorsing Tony Blair for government role

He's not alone though. The other day Macron's father gave a magazine an interview where he called Macron Junior self-serving, insincere and narcissist. And they were just the good points ? -
I'm wondering whether he might have had a wrist capture and got to the mole before it expired. I got a request to help someone out last month. They only have a tiny garden and not many moles so it wouldn't be worth my while to set up a contract with them. I showed the guy how to set a trap and left him to it. Anyway, he bought two haf-barrel traps from an ebay seller near to Ipswich and he couldn't set them. Neither could I. The 'bridge' on top of the catching loop was so high that the latching wire had to be bent over the top of it and it squirmed out of the trigger hook as soon as press
