  1. It isn't just income tax though is it? There is NHI on wages, VAT, tax on vehicle fuels, stamp duty, they even add VAT on the vehicle tax on new cars, tax on tax, inheritance tax, death duties, etc, etc.
  2. I can't see you being in the bottom three. Those already down there seem determined to hold onto their places. ? I think that Bilic was the man for the Hammers. From my non-partisan position he was a perfect fit, but he had a lot of bad luck with injuries and the Payet farce that was none of his fault.
  3. Use what it is coming for. Any casualties can be left out at night in a convenient place and if not taken removed in the morning. Once the fox has sussed the regular availability of chicken carcases you can sit out in your hide.
  4. And your point is? Does that 92 year old veteran remember being parked on a trolley in a corridor because A&E is full of drug addicts, alcohol abusers and foreigners coming over to get treated for nothing?
  5. A lot of what you say is down to the fact that Bliar's government and ministers were Tories in disguise. That is why Blunkett with his grace and favour apartment on the Duke of Devonshire's estate doesn't endorse a true left politician like Corbyn. Blunkett was a true red then realised that he could make more money by sucking up to the Tory paymasters. Now, don't think for a minute that I endorse Corbyn because I think that he is a throwback to the 1970's with the three-day week and strikes that have crippled the country for decades. But using people like Blunkett to make a point isn't w
  6. I like the idea of those traps. ? I can see them working in places like inside kitchen cupboards, pantries or other rooms that can be isolated from pets and kids where a boxed trap or the conventional treadle triggered trap alerts their suspicion. I went to put some kitchen waste out in the compost bin this morning and found a rat's nest in there. I've put a Mk. IV welcome mat out for it. Horses for courses. ?
  7. And I wouldn't trust the opinion of the BBC in this matter anyway. They are and always have been Labour biased.
  8. What you need is a Lancastrian. They eat all the bits that nobody else will touch - cow's heels, tripe, pigs trotters........... They chuck the good stuff away.
  9. One of the things that Wee Jimmy will insist on is that she will have control over immigration. This is the same woman who wants to remain aligned to the same EU that refuses to allow member states to have any say in their refugee policy, enforces by law the rights of any EU citizen to live and work anywhere in the EU and gives them the same rights as the country's own people. Once again I ask; Does anyone else see a flaw in her strategy?
  10. I saw today that the SNP will extract a heavy demand if Labour ask them to lend their support if there is a coalition. They will demand another once in a generation independence referendum. ? Now, if I understand this correctly; Wee Jimmy will only lend Steptoe her party's support if he allows them another referendum which, if it goes the way Wee Jimmy hopes, will result in the SNP candidates Steptoe is relying on to shore up his government leaving Westminster. Can anyone else see a flaw in this strategy? ?
  11. The main thing to remember is that chub don't act like trout. They don't lie facing upstream waiting for food to come downstream to them. Chub are always on the move. like a flock of sheep. And if you spook one you spook the lot. Even the ones you didn't see.
  12. I've never staked traps out like that so I don't know whether it would work or not. Usually the trap isn't far away. My old spaniel used to find them for me and this week my current dog, a Fox Terrier x JRT located a missing trap all by herself about 20 metres from the trap site. With Duffus traps often they would be left with the mole still intact. I reckon that the second side will have gone off while the fox or badger was examining it and that activation scared it off. The Putange that Lily found had fur around the prongs so whatever had taken it had removed the mole. No mean feat with stai
  13. The problem with teams like Leicester and Wolves is their lack of depth of squads. Burnley found out last year what a problem it is to compete in mid-week European games, EFL Cup ,Fa Cup and the PL. Wolves have suffered this year from over exposure and Liverpool are now facing two games in two days due to them being in yet another new competition. I can see the bigger teams opting out of the EFL Cup in the near future. It isn't in their interests. On the other side of the coin, Leicester this year could profit from City and Liverpool being over stretched. It might pay off for them.
  14. The trouble with trapping in shallow runs is foxes and badgers nicking the mole, and the trap ? The mole has to get to the shallow run from somewhere so if possible try and trace the tunnel back to where it is a little deeper.

Don't believe that bollocks about the family home. The house they were talking about has nothing to do with JRM. It is a Grade 1 listed building and was desecrated by first the NCB then Rotherham Council who used it as a teacher training centre. The fecking great ballroom has a netball pitch marked out on it. It deserves public money to restore it. JRM doesn't own it, has never lived there or stayed one night inside it. The story is Labour propaganda.
  17. 41 illegal migrants found in a refrigerated lorry in Greece today. Mainly Afghanis. https://fr.news.yahoo.com/grèce-autorités-interceptent-camion-frigorifique-141251725.html
  18. Its all relative though. Leicester and Wolves aren't breaking transfer records. They seem to be able to identify bargains like Tielemans and Jimenez cost around £40m each. And neither of these clubs have the squad value that some of the north-west and London teams have. I think that this season's team for shoestring value is Sheffield United.
  19. To be fair to Labour though. If we got Dianne Abbott as Home Secretary she can increase the police numbers by 10,000 for as little as £300,000 spread over 4 years of easy payments. If she could be made Chancellor our problems would be solved forever.
  20. You mean the same Keith Vaz who was in charge of the standards commission?
  21. So are Prescott and Meddlesome. Hardly an elite club.
  22. But without having to pay for it ?
  23. His problem is that he is so thick he actually thinks that he is cleverer than everyone else. And his world is so small he thinks a big fish in his tiny world is the biggest fish in the sea. You can always tell the psychos on a forum. They post multiple times one after the other, five, six, seven posts all together, often contradicting themselves without realising.
  24. I had a call out about this a couple of weeks ago in a holiday home. The contract gardeners had found a hole alongside the house wall just like in those photos. I dug it out and the tunnel lead straight to a couple of conduits bringing electricity cables out of the basement. Fortunately one pipe was to small for a rat to access and the other had been blocked with concrete so the rat hadn't got access. But the little bugger must have known there was a breach there. Nowhere else had been dug. I dug a trench all along the wall and turned the soil over so it was too loose to support a tunnel.
