I used to do a bit of branching and an old farmer who I had permission off asked me to bring him some rook squabs as he remembered as a child having rook pie as a treat on some Saint's Day that was the traditional time when the branchers would start leaving the nest. So I took him four and twenty fresh squabs. He didn't ask for any more. Apparently they weren't as he remembered them ?

But they have left Kante out which is basically like saying that there will be no threat.

I'm guessing Year 9?

They tried that in Derry in 1972. It didn't go down too well.

It was his Arsenal season ticket

Aren't the Seat vans still basically the same size, spec, etc as the VW ones? They used to go a bit cheaper than the Caddy's.

You mean the Liverpool Academy?

They need all those trees to grow the money on that they have promised to spend.

I have recently bought one of those recommended by Greyman - £41 plus delivery. It is on the whole well made, but i haven't had chance to give it much use yet, just a few nights checking the garden for activity. I noticed that the bait inside my rat cage trap had disappeared last night ? so I have the trail-cam set up to monitor it. Then I'm after the human trap thief who is sneaking into one of my customer's garden. I'm using some old 2000/ 2100 re-chargables that haven't been charged or used for years. So far they have held up in three night's usage.

The discarded sheaves would be a big help to identify the species. There are wels catfish in most major river systems in England now. They have been quietly catching them on the Trent for about ten years. The small river I used to fish had a few brown trout and other river species, but no carp. The floods of 2007 caused lakes in the catchment area to overflow and all of a sudden we had rainbow trout and carp in our little river. The catfish however, like zander before them arrive by vehicle. Regards big cats, wolves etc in France; the situation out here is totally different to how sho

It is no different from the introduction of grey squirrels, mink, etc. The UK is an island and these non-native species can't just migrate across the border like they do in mainland Europe. On a similar theme the number of non-indigenous fish species in French and Spanish rivers is increasing all the time. Anglers fishing the Ebro are thought to have brought livebaits from northern Europe to use when fishing for the large catfish. These fish, roach and bream, suddenly started turning up in catches in the 1970's as a result of the escapees ans unused fish being tipped into the river. The W

As a matter of interest; do big cats shed their sheaves like domestic cats do and if so have any been found around these scratching posts?

Mou was very brave subbing Eriksen for Dier so early on. Agree with your thoughts on Kane. Just imagine of he'd been playing for a continental side as an out and out striker and not in central midfield where he spent half of last year. And why did Woy have him taking corners instead of being on the end of them? His stats are even more remarkable than they look on paper when you look at his history.

When did Liverpool become Sunderland? ? I hoped we'd done with that schite.

I take it you haven't read the edit I just added? It is a shame that you don't see your own shortcomings in your posts.

It looks like I have a stalker. Top line: "Two pages in......" What did you think I was talking about? Do you get your radio programs by mail, on paper? You really must try harder. Or give up trying. Yes, Aunty Beeb;- The BBC in general, as in the website and the blatantly biased political reporting over Brexit with the biased audience numbers in TV debates. That is why it is the only major UK news website that doesn't elaborate on the damage Corbyn did to his own party. One issue might not prove anything. But taken over many years the BBC are Labour biased. https://b

I was clearly talking about the BBC website. They were listing all sorts of minor news stories but nothing on Corbyn. They still haven't. But they have a feature on the SNP and another Corbyn claim that the NHS is at risk from an American trade deal. But nothing on the Andrew Neal interview. Edit> The BBC website has now added a Facts Check article throwing doubts on two claims by Andre Neal but mentioning nothing about Corbyn's reluctance to answer questions or the impact on his spending plans.
-
And yet the BBC themselves don't mention Corby's car crash interview or how he ducked the questions about his spending budget. Two pages in, tucked away is a little piece about him refusing to apologise for anti-Semitism, but nothing, not a word from them about the bigger issues. Every newspaper has it on their front pages, even The (labour loving) Guardian, but not the 'impartial' BBC. It is time that Aunty Beeb was forced to find her own way in life and stop being dependent on compulsory licence fees. The way it has undermined Brexit and now blatantly siding with Labour it doesn't deser

I doubt it. It was north of the Gironde estuary. The Gironde is a very large river fed by other large rives such as the Lot and Dordogne. It divides the country north / south in the same way that the Humber estuary does. Except the distances are much greater. The wolf has been identified from photographs as a grey wolf and these are found in small numbers on the other side of the country bordering Italy. There are Iberian wolves in Spain and Portugal, but this isn't thought to be one of those. Probably an escapee. There are wildlife parks and zoos in that region although you would have t

Taken from the local paper a few days back: That is down towards Bordeaux in France. Quite a distance from the known habitats of wild wolves.

Be interesting to hear sandymere's views on this........

And don't forget Mascherano keeping them safe at the back. Incidentally, he learned it all at Upton Park ?

Nothing new there Wilf. Leeds brought Jack Charlton all the way from Northumberland, put him up in a B&B and told the landlady to feed him up ?

Yes, the Blades are surprising a lot of people. Including their own fans ? I can't help comparing them to the Crazy Gang though. Eventually though, they can't keep it up. I really hope that they have a great December as I think that January might be a tough month for them. But at least they will be safe by then. I don't rate that Yarmolenko and I don't see what you can see in Anderson, Lanzini and Snodgrass for example. For me, Lanzini whilst brilliant on his day is too fragile, Antonio has not had the chance to perform to his capabilities due to one thing and another but the others
