A mates daughter goes to the school, the parents and teachers do a good job of raising money for the kids, iv'e donated stuff iv'e made to auction off a few times, very worthy cause, and every penny does go on the kids, guarantee it. Fair play to the old fella, hope he makes it.

I should have said, don't try to do it around other dogs, dogs bounce off each other, go out with a mate and their dog/dogs will change everything, your dog will be competing with their dogs, a bit of unruly behaviour influenced by another dog/s is to be expected, its not fair or very smart to try and curb your dogs behaviour under those circumstances. Its no use using a catty on a young pup, they just don't understand, you concentrate on the bonding, basic training, and getting it interested in game. When its an adolescent and knows a bit about what it should and shouldn't do, you correct any unwanted behaviour with a smack on the arse, as the dogs doing it, no need to hurt it, use soft/light ammo (aniseed balls are pretty accurate) you do it when a good chance comes up, and at a short distance, they soon understand you have control over them even off the lead. My first choice wouldn't be a pure greyhound mate, the right grew, with a light but tall frame should cut down the muscle mass/weight of the pups a bit, and some lads use grews as lurchers, they'd have more idea about the dogs mentality or lack of it than a grey just running round a track. You're only putting the engine in, the lab would see to the brains, starting with something a bit lighter in the first place might produce more useful first x's? Km to miles is easy enough, 10 Km is near enough 6 miles..............So 30Km = 18 miles for eg...............if you want to split hairs...........10Km is 6.2 odd miles, so 50Km would be about 31 miles.
