  1. Sounds spot on mate, hard to believe it would fetch a fox back tbh, but a good sign if iv'e ever seen one
  2. When i was a virgin my forearm looked like that
  3. Ramsden bred that type mate, lived near Leeds, seen a few, and they were decent dogs.
  4. That's because i'm quoting/talking to Stevo79 mate, not you Nice dogs btw. Its just funny mate, he's posted in the collie thread............"get a beddy x whippet, they do everything and more" then he posts a pic of his" beddy x whippet on this" No wonder it can do anything is it And no offence, just made me laugh
  5. That explains your post in the other thread mate
  6. A mates daughter goes to the school, the parents and teachers do a good job of raising money for the kids, iv'e donated stuff iv'e made to auction off a few times, very worthy cause, and every penny does go on the kids, guarantee it. Fair play to the old fella, hope he makes it.
  7. Iv'e worked all over the immigrant areas, Page Hall, Burngreave, Attercliffe, Darnall may as well be in Pakkistan, no go areas for whites now, even working in them daytime you need to be tooled up just in case, seen all sorts happen.
  8. As far as I know roosting was done on a c.ear night never did get the knack myself lolNo mate darker and windyer the better. What even without lamp ?I was led to believe that a clear full moon night was good for shooting roosters big black shapes easy to see against the bright sky.Exact.y what I was told tried it but my eyesight isn't to good so no good without a lamp lolNo need for torches or anything just go on a cloudy night and you can see really clearly looking up at them. I like banks of cloud blowing across with a clear dark sky, just a case of timing, solid cloud lights it up to m
  9. Inverted Totalitarianism. I've always and still do assert we live in a democracy, just that the electorate are too easily controlled to be free. It's totalitarianism through the manipulation of democracy. The Mob don't care for politics, they're emotional and reactionary, so long as this is true a democracy will always be controllable....... JMO. Strictly speaking BH i agree with that, its manipulation of democracy, but its so underhanded/bias i think you could argue any system that can be manipulated to that extent isn't real democracy? In theory anyone who was popular enough with
  10. I agree Len, but if any leader that had the best interests of our country came forward they'd never get a chance, we only get to vote for people selected by the powers that be, anyone else never gets near..............Politics is a shame imo mate. I spent new years eve talking to a labour councillor at a party, i mentioned" non of the above" as a way to remove the existing system, he said if it went that route they'd just take control by force.............I pointed out that in that case he knew we didn't live in a democracy..............and he freely admitted it, if politicians don't thin
  11. Most people seem to think leaving the EU will make a big difference to immigration..............I don't see it? The genuine refugee's are fleeing conflicts started by us and the Yanks..............why would the rest of Europe take them in and not put pressure on us to take our share/the lions share.......Last time i looked America isn't in the EU...............They're taking refugees A large percentage of these "refugees" aren't coming from countries with any conflicts, Bangladesh, Pakkistan, Africa...........no legal basis whatsoever to enter Europe, but we're taking them Ther
  12. Seen an interview with him once and said he used to spar against youngsters. He said when you spar against trained fighters they had there routines and were predictable, spar against a novice and he's liable to do anything. Naz did do that mate, he bullied those young lads, just showing off, until one day one of them got pissed off, slipped the gloves off and floored him, Brendan and another fella had to jump in and pull him off the prick
  13. I can't stand the bloke, the wife watches his show sometimes, wtf is funny about him saying "i'm off for a shit" every time the ads come on Vulgar, talentless prick imo.
  14. Trouble is the ones with a mind of their own/determination usually make the best dogs, like an old mate of mine says "you can't lose shite" The best terriers i had were the ones that always got in trouble one way or another, so i tend to agree with him?
  15. I should have said, don't try to do it around other dogs, dogs bounce off each other, go out with a mate and their dog/dogs will change everything, your dog will be competing with their dogs, a bit of unruly behaviour influenced by another dog/s is to be expected, its not fair or very smart to try and curb your dogs behaviour under those circumstances. I hunt alone, the lurcher was trained before i added the bitch, its a totally different thing to having a day out with other dogs, i don't get uptight about a bit of unruly behaviour when its caused by competition between the dogs when i have
  16. Its no use using a catty on a young pup, they just don't understand, you concentrate on the bonding, basic training, and getting it interested in game. When its an adolescent and knows a bit about what it should and shouldn't do, you correct any unwanted behaviour with a smack on the arse, as the dogs doing it, no need to hurt it, use soft/light ammo (aniseed balls are pretty accurate) you do it when a good chance comes up, and at a short distance, they soon understand you have control over them even off the lead. You don't want to be shooting to hit the dog at a distance, but you don't have t
  17. So were does that leave " evoloutionism " as a philosophy dido? I dont think this is the first time the weak, or unhealthy, in your words, has bred an had children, so were does that leave evoloutioism dido. Not looking an argument, just curious to your answers. Trying hard to get another evo discussion going aren't you mate This topics about mans influence on our surroundings, observable changes in things around us, things that we made change. Scientific facts............Moths becoming darker after the pollution of the industrial revolution, the blackthorn being the ancest
  18. My first choice wouldn't be a pure greyhound mate, the right grew, with a light but tall frame should cut down the muscle mass/weight of the pups a bit, and some lads use grews as lurchers, they'd have more idea about the dogs mentality or lack of it than a grey just running round a track. You're only putting the engine in, the lab would see to the brains, starting with something a bit lighter in the first place might produce more useful first x's? I'm doing the same thing using spaniel blood, we've got two 5 year old bitches, litter sisters, first x whipp/span, both athletic, stamina to b
  19. Another good argument for population reduction, if we don't do it ourselves mother nature will do it for us eventually. Unfortunately the leaders of our society's are genetic f**k ups who want numbers to exploit, their thinking is now a polar opposite of how we evolved in cooperative/social groups. More people, more pressure on our planet and its resources.........Insane.
  20. I doubt anybody's carried it of?, he opened its eyes lol, he's lucky he didn't get killed.
  21. Yep, that'll be me then... But mind what your calling fat and useless...IMG-20150411-WA0002.jpg Not my type at all mate, but what a superb animal, he's a credit to you
  22. Some handles iv'e not fitted yet, the skull's carved from Rhododendron, and the ducks Ash A few finished sticks, and blanks Chestnut knobstick i did for a mate Chestnut shaft and knob from Sycamore, strong stick i did for a mate who a big lad Not made any for a while, got loads of blanks in the shed roof going to waste really.
  23. Km to miles is easy enough, 10 Km is near enough 6 miles..............So 30Km = 18 miles for eg...............if you want to split hairs...........10Km is 6.2 odd miles, so 50Km would be about 31 miles.
  24. There's "thinking out of the box" and then there's crazy ideas that will just cause you letdowns and waste time, in all honesty mate i wouldn't consider this x at all.
  25. Done with a bit of thought its a good training aid, and no fear of hurting the dog in any way. The key is timing.
