Was it Bertrand Russell ? "The only thing worse than dying, would be not dying." Sounds like Bertrand Russell BB? My favourite is Mark Twain............"I was dead for billions of years, and it never caused me the slightest inconvenience" Aye mate, cause you never had life first, lol Looks like you're under the misconception of "self" mate Life is life, individual consciousness just kicks in at random, and means very little in the grand scheme of things One day down the line, life will regard Steve Jobs as a creator, churches will be built in the shape of a

Hondo was the film, Lassie (or rather Laddie) was his dog, called Dog. I remember watching that the first time, hated it when the fat mex killed the dog Forgot another favourite............Pat Garret and Billy the kid..........earthy, gritty, and brilliant soundtrack from Dylan............the soundtrack made more money than the film.

I think all things considered its probably my favourite, Eli Wallach makes it for me........."if your gonna shoot, shoot, don't talk" I like all the classics, the searchers, true grit, the one where John Wayne has the big collie lurcher thing is good............Little big man is good imo, unusual genre maybe, but a good film.

I wouldn't want eternal life, eternal life would be hard, unless your'e a proper selfish c**t, you'd have to watch everybody you love die, time and time again, how much of that could anybody take? Dying is the natural order of things, i don't like it, but no use worrying about things you cant change is it.

Don't get me wrong Max, i'm all for leaving the EU, its just an excuse generator for our governments to do as they please, but not take the fallout for it, i just don't see how its going to slow the tide if we keep causing the problems in the first place? Fact is we aren't legally connected to any of it anyway, the paperwork was never completed properly, its been a f***ing scam from start to finish. But when it comes to politics/money/power what's not a scam? In or out the same people will run the show, get shut of them or its going to be the sam old same old regardless, never happen, w

problem is we have so many immigrants allowed to vote, plus the jocks.... I doubt being out out the EU will make much difference to immigration? The two main parties want mass immigration, tories a bit less than labour maybe, but our governments will still let them in wholesale, they'll just go from "we have to take them because of EU rules" to "we have to take them for humanitarian reasons" They wont stop invading muslim countries to steal, so they'll keep creating "refugee's" The rest of Europe will still expect us to handle our own fall out, and you cant really blame the

What about your best fail story? Here's mine When i was about 25 me and my mate got a weekender doing a boundary wall job for a couple about 30 ish, her mother lived about 100 yards down the road. The couple were going on holiday before the job would be finished so her mom would pay us, and come up and make us a cuppa...ect...........Her mom must have been early 50's, really smart and fit, well known badminton player apparently? She was chatty but nothing dodgy i picked up on. My mate was on holiday before we finished it, so i went the last weekend on my own. She was extra chatty the s

A standard sized hazel stick..........say an inch at the fattest/top end, then tapered.............should be straightened out after 7 or 8 months of drying, there's still some sap in it, and heating that sap with a heat gun allows the wood fibers to slide one one another, if they dry to much you've got way more chance of damaging it trying to straighten the bends out. I tend to leave them a bit longer after straightening, but make sure they're laid nice and flat, most times a bit of a tickle with the heat gun when you come to finish the stick and jobs a good un.

That could be the end game for muslims in European countries, after they've served their purpose? I think much bigger things are at stake, like control of the middle east, the powers that be wont do it without our consent, but who'd object to some serious "thinning out" of muslims in the present climate, were being taught to hate on purpose imo. Give it some thought, isis and all this other bollocks came about after the UK and US governments defeat over bombing Syria the first time round, they lost our consent, arm some young stupid ideological group like isis, let muslims in that we will se
