I wonder how many good dogs get passed on as no good? My mate got a dog that was "no good" turned out to be 100% bitch, we dug to it for years, never saw her quit anything, just needed time.

And here's why UKIP were destined to lose in S.Yorks..........."We are the only party keeping the flame of thatcherism burning" That one quote completely ruined any chance of them getting anywhere..............If they can't even figure that out, what chance they could run a country In the election before last the people of Rotherham voted 4 BNP candidates in in local elections................They made absolutely no impact at all, didn't turn up for meetings, and generally took the piss................Every muslim, every immigrant and the die hard left turn out and vote labour..

If you can do 100 in a session with a dog or gun you're on land that can stand it, and very probably should do it before disease kicks in, they'll just go to waste. There's a big difference between that and wiping any area out, the rabbits never build up to nuisance levels round here, even left alone, so no excuse for virtually wiping them out..............When the land round here was a proper estate there was some balance, the old keepers were arseholes, but never wiped anything out...............Its been chopped into syndicates now............and these cretins just shoot everything out,

Hares are vulnerable to liver fluke and that can kill a lot off if its a wet year. Fluke's a parasite mate, a cycle that involves snails and ants, in over 40 years of hunting round here iv'e only ever found a handful of dead/ skinny hares, that could or could not have died from fluke, on the other hand iv'e found plenty with a f***ing great hole in them, is a big hole through the chest a symptom of fluke?................They don't even pick them up. You should have gone for EBHS...............a virus from the same family as RHD..............rabbits are immune to EBHS though........

I think that can happen, but its usually the really experienced older dogs just using their brains, not so much being lazy as being cunning and standing in the right place, specially if its on land they know well. Dogs have relationships with other dogs, some dogs like each other, some dogs don't, not much different to us really. It can be hard to see sometimes, it don't always come out in an obvious aggressive way, if a dog feels slightly inferior to another dog, or gets dropped into a pack and doesn't know its proper place because its a new pack to it, it could hold back from working.

My x bred bitch is like that mate, hard grafter when its just me her and the lurcher, but doesn't like working round other dogs, not even her litter sister and her dam. She was fine working with other dogs as a youngster, but iv'e worked her alone for 3 years more or less, does my head in a bit tbh. I think its just a case of taking them hunting with the other dogs a bit, i'm sure mine would come round given time?

They'd think better of him than they do at the moment. Maybe it did snowball, but just saying "no thanks" would have ended it right there. Your'e right Walshie, no need for him to add things on like that, or could have refused the donations, maybe he is a bent f****r, i just felt a bit sorry for the bloke if he told a daft story that got out of hand, if that's out of character for him as a rule anyway? But at the end of the day he's had enough time to put things straight now, it don't look like that's going to happen does it?

Agreed Socks, whichever way you look at it he's guilty of that, even if its not intentional, i just find it hard to believe anyone would set out to do it on purpose? I'm not defending it, or him.

The only reason that I ask is the average wage in Calgary appears to be $28 an hour based on a 40 hour week. So your offer is exceptional.
