    Nice. Im thinking of using wood for mine. I use concrete slabs at the minute packed in with old carpet... but over time, the pellets are eating away at the slab at a certain point Wood, maybe better as it will swell and shape around the impact point. Maybe. Especially old logs like yours.

    Managed a late Sunday foray just now, well, 4 or so hours ago. Went to my closest permission, had a scoot round, luckily dropped these two pals towards the end of the walk. Big one took it plum to the back of the melon. Little un stayed around to wonder why. Left that place. Walked 50 yards to the next permission and set up shop behind an old stone wall. Unfortunately the trees are quite far but I can't find a better spot. I shot these trees a few weeks ago from behind an iron gate, but thats even further.     Yep. Glass is crystal. Just couldnt get on with the BDC reticle. There actually built for the rim fire cartridge you see, zero at 100 and then small circular mil dot corrspond to 200, 300 etc. You could go old school 30/30 though. The build quality is faultless. I would have one again, just wish they did them with a touch more choice reticle wise.

    That barrel.... Cut down...?! Never been. It no doubt is a K mate, but it's not cut down. Standard k barrel is 311mm. It does look long mind. Looks mint 3 lander. Will be snapped up. Shame it ain't by me.

    Right, had a drink. But. I bet you my 97 if you got yourself a small Airmax for that rifle, you wouldn't look back for one second. Seriously. Just have a look at one. I know you will of seen them, but trust. When you get it home and on that TX... Youll be like, Jesus, was that only 120 quid! It would pull the pants down on that Nikko mate allllllll day long.     Fundamentally, it could be a class thing. Airguns are used by the shooters that ask for permission, shotties are for the shooters that own the permission. It is for me anyway. And any posh sod I've met, shotguns. Thing is they can keep the pests down with a shotgun in such confined spaces.

    My god. I was just banging on about the sling I have on my 97 to a friend the other day. Mate. Best sling I've ever used, both quality and feel. Seriously. No idea what it is, mrs got it me for Christmas last year. That won't help. I'll find out.

    Now what do we have here then... Charlie clearly knows my taste. Now. Firstly, without the following sentences, I would have this. End of. Issue one is I can't get hold of transport for a week or two as the mrs is working away. Second (very small issue this), ideally I'd like a 80K, and this looks full length.     cant argue with that mole spot on atvbjimmy :thumbs: The more and more I think about it the more I think this is a good idea. I have a Nikko Sterling Panax 4.5-14x50 AO IR on my .177 I fancy something with a maybe a bit more magnification - like the look of the Nikko long range panamax. What you guys got you on HW100s? There ball bags. Assuming you meant what have they got on there HW100's.
