H&N are the standard in my rapid and 97. When I had that imp, it's liked fields and H&N grouped like a ducks arse with either. -
Why FAC.It seemed to me to be another aspect of air rifle shooting which interested me. I also noticed just how many FAC airguns were around at very good prices, mainly because of a smaller buying market. My shotgun license was comming up for renewal and thought it made sense to combine the two at a cost saving and the farmer whose land I shoot on had no issues with me using FAC rifles, air or live ammo although I have no interest in live ammo rifles. I am NOT going down this avenue to increase range although I guess that may be posible but having the extra power brings it's own merrits, we

Marko. As I think you know, I grew up wanting a 7 while reading about John Darlings forays in Airgunner. So my opinion may be quite bias as I've always had a soft spot for them. Dad could never afford to get me one, they were £545 back then, so I went without and he got me a AA S300 serial 069, still bloody 400 or so and one of the first, it was superb from what I remember. Anyway. There is a saying never drive your dream car, as it could turn out proper wank, however, as much as this is true for me and my first rapid, I always knew there were better examples out there, referring to

Evenin. Somewhat old thread this Not sure mate. Got it from a member on here. No idea of its past. Could be... Startin a love affair. Was mint. Ahhhh. A TM. I assume you'd of had your ear chewed off by mr tawn then... The man can talk. Yeah they do. Hardly use mine at the minute, something I've got to address. Got a rapid you see. Seems to be getting most field use.

Sweet that.

Alright Dave. I think, there two different kinds, the two you have highlighted... either way you'll be doing some woodwork to fit it An issue I doubt you'll have a problem with. Id personally go with the 'V' system, perhaps looks a bit neater. Saves turning the rifle upside down as a small extra point.

"Fearless buggers" Nicely put.

Ill be interested too... many will think your out of your mind though mate, laminating a sexy bit of timber like that. When you get it done, bang some images up.
-
Your probably in the best position to fit one then my man. If you've spent time with it standard and achieving what you are happy with, why not. Get the kit in, it can only get better. 95's... Off subject, but they've never really floated my boat... and I have no idea why, they should do. There like the .20 of the calibre world, 99 being a .177 and being .22, yet I have a .20 HM. Hmmmm. Ill have to think about that one.
-
Back to the OP, Ive got a V-glide system in my own 97. Expensive though but I can assure, its only as good as the shooter... Wank sometimes then. All kits are like that, if you cant hit a barn door, you still wont hit a barn door with 1k of options running in the rifle.

Without licking ya poo ring, that rifle wouldn't of done f'k all with someone behind it pulling the trigger... Dont think thats all the rifles work there is what Im saying. As an extra, you think you could of shot that many birds when it was standard? I think you probably could of done to be honest. You did your research and got in the right place and the right time.

Think it might of just come back to pick up whatever 'bits' might be left over from the tussle this side of the fence. Nice to see the 'pie getting a taste of its own med-sen

Do they normally take prey larger than a sparrow then? I would assume they'll grab oat that takes there fancy, bigger or smaller than a pouncy sparrow.
-
If any one could let me know what bird this is... not up to speed on my birds of prey. Kept saying Hawke, but Im thinking Kestral/Peregrine.

Went down stairs this morning for the coffee pot. Heard some magpies right kicking off outside. They've been bullyin' some local thrush family at the end of the garden over the past for weeks, thought, right.... Snuck into the garage to get my HM being the quietist. Crept back to the kitchen. Still, a loud bitchin'... normally they've buggered off with there sixth sense of danger the little sods. Out to the garden and this made me feel like Id missed the boat. Doesn't care if its a clean kill or not. It'll just eat its catch alive. Absolute savage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V

You on your holidays ya get!? I know when I go away it's like, can't flamin' wait to get back... Get the rifle out, just hold it.
-
Just buzzin about something. After seeing Marks mint post about passing on game to the local birds of prey places... I did a quick search on the tinternet for local birds of prey places and found one thats on my flammin' doorstep, next door to a field I have permission on, hes in fact seen me out and about form his lounge window and hes offered some cash for rabbits and so on. Anyway, wasnt interested in the cash but said Id like to see his birds, but Ive been invited on a session in the winter with his Harris Hawkes, Bonny and Clyde Dont know much about the Harris Hawke, but f'k me,

I'd second that. You literally have to be in the FT or match shooting to benefit fully from a complete re build of the unit.

No chance of being pulled away, there is zero discussion available on the Instagram. I find it heavily US focused mind.

I use it myself. All the images of being out, shooting and so on I take are uploaded and then I upload to here to share them with you lot. Names in signature.
